On his journey to become a PGA of America Professional and his dreams of playing on the PGA TOUR:
“I decided I wanted to become a professional golfer right after college. I received a golf scholarship to play golf at Iona College and after graduation, I didn’t know what to do with my life, but golf was all I knew. I started working at a private club in Westchester County, N.Y., and did not like it at all. I was working in the bag room. I switched from golf to the restaurant business. That was the best decision I ever made. I met my future wife, and also realized that working 60 hours a week did not afford me to play golf, and I missed the golf business. In 2005, I made some significant changes in my life, and turned professional after joining the PGA of America as an apprentice. I love the business-side of golf. However, I feel that Big Break is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to realize my goal of competing on the PGA TOUR.”
