Christopher Murvin

As senior vice president of business affairs and general counsel, Murvin is responsible for negotiating television and digital media rights agreements with Golf Channel’s various golf organization partners, including the PGA TOUR, the LPGA Tour, the USGA, the PGA of America, Augusta National and the European Tour, as well as other significant contracts that impact Golf Channel’s business. He also is responsible for protecting Golf Channel’s trademarks, copyrights and other intellectual property, and overseeing the network’s licensing and use of intellectual property from third parties. Murvin also oversees Golf Channel’s international distribution activities and general compliance with federal and state laws and regulations . Murvin rejoined Golf Channel in January 2006, after having served in a similar capacity with the network since its inception in 1991 through 2000. Murvin is a graduate of Auburn University and Cumberland School of Law.
