Emily Ingram, vice president of human resources, is responsible for overseeing talent management, organizational assessment and operational excellence to optimize both individual and organizational success at Golf Channel. With an employee base of over 1,300, her goal is to maintain Golf Channel’s competitive edge through strategy and , innovation to help attract, develop, and retain top talent while continuously making Golf Channel a great place to work.
Before joining Golf Channel, Ingram was senior vice president of organizational effectiveness for Wyndham Worldwide, which she first joined in 2003. Among her accomplishments at Wyndham was the creation of the learning and development team and strategy, which focused on growing the talent pipeline and building core leadership skills. This program, among others she is credited with, resulted in improved employee engagement and performance, along with numerous development, and career growth opportunities. Ingram also previously led HR initiatives for Shaklee Corporation, Convergys Corporation and Hyatt Hotels.
Ingram enjoys learning both in and out of the workplace and is a member of the National Association of Professional Women and the Society of Human Resource Management. She also serves as a member of the advisory board for Human Resources People & Strategy. A graduate of Cornell University, Ingram received her Bachelor of Science degree and the Senior Professional in Human Resources certification. Ingram has been a Floridian for three years and currently resides in Baldwin Park with her husband, Seth, and son Reese.
