Holly Sonders joined Golf Channel in January 2011 as a co-host for “Morning Drive,” Golf Channel’s live, weekday morning show. In 2012, Sonders has an increasing role in Golf Channel’s instruction franchises, where she contributes to “The Golf Fix” and joined Martin Hall as co-host of “School of Golf.”
Sonders comes to Golf Channel from KATV in Little Rock, Ark., where she was a news and sports reporter. Sonders also served as a sideline reporter for the Big Ten Network during the 2009 season.
An Ohio native, Sonders began her career at WBNS-10 TV in Columbus working on “The Average Joe Sports Show,” a live, weekly television show that covered statewide athletics on the high school and collegiate levels. A graduate of Michigan State University with a degree in Communications, Sonders was a four-year member of the MSU Women's Golf Team and helped the Lady Spartans to a Big Ten Championship in 2007.
