Jeff Foster is responsible for overseeing all sales and marketing functions for Golf Channel’s new media businesses, including: GolfNow.com, North America’s largest electronic tee-time business and its more than 400 associated travel URLs; GolfNow Golf Leagues; and the Golf Channel Am Tour, the largest amateur golf tour in North America. Advancing the company’s mission to help grow the game, Foster has been integral in creating concierge-type services for all golfers, whether it’s helping them book local tee times over the Internet, planning for a golfing vacation or playing tournament-style golf in a fun and competitive atmosphere. Foster has been with Golf Channel since 1998, having started in advertising sales and, subsequently, transitioning to various roles, including sales management, event operations, and business acquisition/integration. A native of Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., Foster earned a bachelor's degree in advertising from Augusta State University while playing on a golf scholarship. He also played professional golf on various mini-tours throughout Florida. Foster currently lives with his wife and three children in the Orlando suburb of College Park.
