Host, Grey Goose 19th Hole

Lara Baldesarra serves as host of the Grey Goose 19th Hole, Golf Channel’s weekly talk show that is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2012. She also anchors Golf Central, the network’s signature news show. Baldesarra joined Golf Channel in January from Sportsnet, Canada’s national sports network. At Sportsnet, she anchored the weekday morning show, Sportsnet World Connected, focusing on golf, soccer, auto racing and tennis, among other sports. Baldesarra also hosted various shows and live sporting events across the network. Prior to Sportsnet, she anchored Fox Soccer Channel’s nightly news and highlight show, Fox Soccer Report. She has also worked as a television analyst, commentator, and host for high school and collegiate athletics including football, soccer, and rugby, as well as a rinkside reporter and interviewer for the Canadian Hockey League (CHL).

Born and raised in Toronto, she grew-up playing golf at the Devil’s Pulpit Golf Association. She’s hoping to improve her handicap playing year-round in her new home city of Orlando, where she lives with her two dogs.
