On his journey in professional golf and what has prevented him from reaching the next level in his career:
“I knew I wanted to be a professional golfer since I was in high school. I was a two-sport athlete in college (basketball and golf), but golf always was my first love and passion. After having a very successful collegiate career I realized it was time to take my goal to the next level.
“Money has been my biggest obstacle in realizing my dreams. Same story with most of my fellow competitors. We all know that life on tour is difficult, full of ups and downs. Golf is a very expensive sport, as expenses add up very quickly. I only get to play competitive golf for half of the year. The other half I spend teaching to supplement my income. Following my dream is, without question, the biggest challenge I face in life. It is a daily struggle, but at the same time it happens to be one of the most rewarding.”
