Tommy Schaff’s lifelong goal is to walk the fairways with the best players in the world on the PGA TOUR.  2015 will be his 13th year of playing on mini tours, and his passion to achieve his goal has not diminished.

Similar to the majority of his fellow competitors, finances always have been an issue.  In 12 years as a professional, he competed in PGA TOUR Q-School only three times.  He has played in nearly every developmental tour in the southeast with moderate success.  Finances continue to be a struggle.

His source of inspiration in continuing to pursue his dream?  Friend Tim O’Neal and Schaff’s three children.

“Tim is my greatest inspiration,” said Schaff.  “This man missed getting his PGA TOUR card twice by one shot at Q-School, has bounced around on the developmental tours and has had three different stints on the Web.com Tour.  After all of that, he continues to push on and be successful.

“I want to show my three kids that their dad realized his dream,” Schaff continued.  “Through hard work and dedication you can accomplish anything you put your mind to.”

It is that source of dedication and inspiration that continues to drive Schaff as he continues his journey.  It also makes him one of the favorites to win it all on Big Break The Palm Beaches, FL.
