Vic Zast
Vic Zast is the man behind the plan for
Our Longest Drive. The idea came to Zast after learning about Inuvik from reading a mystery novel while recovering from open heart valve surgery. Zast is the designated promoter of the group during their journey to Inuvik.
As a golfer who plays 15 rounds a year, he is a 14-handicap player.
Zast, 67, is a retired executive from the perfume, liquor and gambling industries. He is a freelance sportswriter specializing in thoroughbred horse racing and the author of the award-winning book, The History and Art of 25 Travers.
Zast has been married to Maureen O’Brien for 40 years and the couple has three children.
