James Lepp addresses the ball nicely, his back is nice and straight, and his hips, shoulders, and toes are all parallel to his target line.
As James Lepp has the club in a wonderful position here. He has begun to rotate the toe of the club nicely.
This is picture perfect! James Lepp has his right elbow against his side, he has the club face perfectly square, and he has more shoulder turn than hip turn.
At the top of his swing, James Lepp is coiled and ready to strike the ball. Notice how much more his shoulders have rotated than his hips have.
James Lepp starts his downswing by beginning to release his hips and pulling the butt of the club towards the ball.
James Lepp has a wonderful impact position, his head has stayed down, his right heel has begun to lift off the ground, and both his arms are fully extended.
At this point in the swing, most amateurs have lost their original spine angle; James Lepp has maintained his perfectly. Notice the angle made between his upper and bottom halves.
Instead of holding his finish position like most players, James Lepp reaches his finish position and then brings the club back to this position as he watches his ball soar through the air.
James Lepp does not aim at his target, instead he picks out a spot about 6 feet in front of his ball, and aims at that. You can actually see him aiming at his spot in this photo.
Right from his first move, James Lepp has created an immense amount of extension with his arms.
At the 9 O’Clock position of his golf swing, James Lepp has the club in a wonderful spot. It is far away from his body, and the toe of the club is pointing skyward.
At the top of his swing, James Lepp has turned his shoulders nicely. Notice how his left shoulder is actually behind the golf ball.
James Lepp begins his downswing by pulling the butt of the club towards the ball while he releases his hips.
This position is absolutely textbook! James Lepp’s head has stayed down, his right heel has begun to lift off the ground, and his arms are both fully extended.
At this point in the swing, James Lepp has completely released the golf club. In fact, it almost appears as if his forearms are touching as they rotate to release the golf club.
James Lepp has a beautiful finish position. His right heel is completely off the ground, his right shoulder is over his left toe, and his belt buckle faces the target.
