This week marks the first LPGA event of the 2015 season, as the circuit heads to Asia for the Honda LPGA Thailand. Each week, a panel of experts will offer up their picks from four groups of players, based on Golf Channel's fantasy game, Fantasy Challenge. We will also keep track of their scores and standings. The panel includes: senior writers Rex Hoggard, Randall Mell and Jason Sobel; editorial director Jay Coffin; associate editor Will Gray; 'Morning Drive' host Gary Williams; host Charlie Rymer and defending fantasy champion Ryan Lavner.
Group 1: Stacy Lewis: The veteran has been predictably consistent in two starts this year (T-11 at Pure Silk-Bahamas LPGA and T-8 at the Coates Golf Championship) and still has her sights set on the No. 1 ranking.
Group 2: Lexi Thompson: The long-hitting American got off to a slow start to the season but rebounded with a seventh-place finish earlier this month.
Group 3: Jenny Shin: She is trending in the right direction with finishes of 30th, 19th and fourth place to start the season.
Group 4: Ai Miyazato: The 2010 winner has been playing better golf to start this season and has a solid history in Thailand.
Group 1: Stacy Lewis: The top American has started 2015 with a pair of top-11 finishes, and she has notched three straight top-five results at this event.
Group 2: So Yeon Ryu: Ryu nearly won this event in 2013, finishing T-3, and followed it with a T-11 result last year. She tied for eighth in her season debut in Ocala last month.
Group 3: Ariya Jutanugarn: The rising star is finally healthy and playing well, and she now returns to an event where she let the trophy slip away on the 72nd hole two years ago.
Group 4: Yani Tseng: Tseng has fallen from the form that took her to No. 1 in the world, but she has always thrived in Thailand: six starts, two wins and no finish worse than T-7.
