This week marks the fourth LPGA event of the 2015 fantasy season, as the circuit heads to California for the Swinging Skirts LPGA Classic. Each week, a panel of experts will offer up their picks from four groups of players, based on Golf Channel's fantasy game, Fantasy Challenge. We will also keep track of their scores and standings. The panel includes: senior writers Rex Hoggard, Randall Mell and Jason Sobel; editorial director Jay Coffin; associate editor Will Gray; 'Morning Drive' host Gary Williams; host Charlie Rymer and defending fantasy champion Ryan Lavner.
Group 1: Lydia Ko: Last year's champion, the current world No. 1 and another strong start to the season. Easy choice.
Group 2: Jenny Shin: She finished third last year at the Swinging Skirts and has finished in the top 15 in her last two starts.
Group 3: Mi-Hyang Lee: Solid season so far for Lee, who hasn't missed a cut in eight starts and has two top-10 finishes in her last four events.
Group 4: Mika Miyazato: Played well last year at the Swinging Skirts (T-21) and is also having a solid season, with three top-10s and no missed cuts.
Group 1: Stacy Lewis: Hard not to pick the defending champion Ko, but Lewis seems determined to keep knocking on the door until it opens, despite a run of frustrating seconds. She was close here last year and you know she'll be there at the end again.
Group 2: Hyo-Joo Kim: She's the real deal. Ask the LPGA veterans about this Korean star and now LPGA rookie. She didn't win her first major at Evian by some fluke.
Group 3: Morgan Pressel: Back with swing coach Ron Stockton, Pressel is back hitting those exacting iron shots. Her confidence is high. Small greens play into her game this week.
Group 4: Juli Inkster: Back in the Bay Area, the Solheim Cup captain still has game. She'll be inspired playing so close to home this week and in a good place, working her way around Lake Merced.
