This week the 2016 fantasy golf season rolls along in Canada, as 156 players tee it up in the RBC Canadian Open at Glen Abbey. Experts will offer up their picks from four groups of players, based on Golf Channel's fantasy game, Fantasy Challenge. We will also keep track of their scores and standings. The panel includes: senior writers Rex Hoggard and Randall Mell; editorial director Jay Coffin; associate editor Will Gray; 'Morning Drive' host Gary Williams; host Charlie Rymer and defending fantasy champion Ryan Lavner.
Group 1: Dustin Johnson: Johnson remains the hottest player around, and a solid T-9 finish at Troon shows that he still hasn't slowed since back-to-back wins at Oakmont and Firestone.
Group 2: Emiliano Grillo: The rookie won earlier this season and is contending once again, with top-15 finishes in three of his last four starts including the Open.
Group 3: Harold Varner III: Varner gained entry into next week's PGA when Tiger Woods withdrew, and he has displayed a penchant for contending during his very solid rookie campaign.
Group 4: Brad Fritsch: The Canadian veteran has already secured his return to the PGA Tour with his strong Web.com play this year, and he'll have plenty of support this week from the Ontario crowds.
