WINDERMERE, Fla. – The U.S. Ryder Cup task force will meet next week, according to one member of the task force.
Originally, officials with the PGA of America had hoped to hold its first meeting of the task force this week with many of the members in Central Florida for Tiger Woods’ Hero World Challenge.
Instead, the PGA will meet next week with some of the members joining via a conference call.
The task force includes PGA president Derek Sprague, CEO Pete Bevacqua, vice president Paul Levy, Raymond Floyd, Tom Lehman, Davis Love III, Rickie Fowler, Jim Furyk, Phil Mickelson, Steve Stricker and Tiger Woods.
A second meeting is tentatively scheduled for the first week of February at the Farmers Insurance Open.
