It's officially been a year since we've seen Tiger Woods on a competitive stage, and while no one is sure exactly when we'll see him next, Woods himself has narrowed the timeframe down to "in the future."
While recently sitting down for an interview on Barstool Sports' "Pardon My Take" podcast, ESPN's Scott Van Pelt was asked to call the most famous person in his phone, and he complied, dialing Woods, or "TW" as he has him listed in his contacts.
Though the initial call went straight to voicemail, Tiger quickly called back, and was suddenly in the midst of a full-blown interview.
After being assured he was the most famous, not infamous, person SVP could have called, a refreshingly unbuttoned Woods went along with the schtick, breaking the news that he would be coming back "in the future," before giving some hot takes on Miami Heat president Pat Riley's hair, Stanford's upcoming football season and its gritty star running back Christian McCaffrey.
Check out the entire podcast here, with the Woods call starting at the 41:30 mark.
