Cheyenne Woods remains in the hunt at the ISPS Handa Ladies European Masters for one of three qualifying spots into next week’s Ricoh Women’s British Open.
Woods followed her opening round 5-under-par 67 with a 71 Saturday and sits tied for 17th, six shots behind the leader, Germany’s Caroline Masson. The top three finishers in Sunday’s finale who aren’t already qualified for the Women’s British Open will advance to St. Andrews next week.
Going into Sunday’s final round, Woods sits tied for eighth among players who aren’t already qualified for the Women’s British Open.
England's Laura Davies, vying for much needed European Solheim Cup points, is tied for 34th. Germany's Sandra Gal, also looking to automatically qualify for the European team, is tied for 11th. The top 10 earn European Solheim Cup points.
