ST. ANDREWS, Scotland – Tiger Woods rollercoaster week continues. He switched back to his old Scotty Cameron putter before the final round, but it hasn’t unlocked the key to his putting woes. He has four holes remaining in this Open Championship and is 1 over in his round and 2 under par for the championship.
Woods just cannot seem to get any momentum going. Each time he gets on a run of birdies, a bogey or worse will jump up and bite him. He began the round with birdies on Nos. 1 and 3, but made double bogeys on Nos. 4 and 6. He birdies the ninth and 12th holes, but made bogey on the 13th.
Woods has failed to make par on the 465-yard, par-4 13th hole all week. He made birdie there in Round 1 but had made bogey there for three consecutive days.
