The Senator Course is an original design of Bill Watts and has recently been updated by nationally recognized Golf Course Architect Kipp Schulties. The entire team at Shula’s has coordinated their efforts into creating a golf course that works in harmony with the natural environments found in South Florida. As you enjoy your round you will notice the native wildlife that makes the course their home. Take the time to enjoy the splendor of South Florida’s landscape and foliage. Royal Palms, Sabal Palms and Gumbo Limbo trees are just a few of the natural wonders of the area. The Senator Course at Shula’s is honored to be selected annually to host United States Golf Association events, as well as being a permanent site for NCAA Collegiate events.

The 18-hole "Don Shula's" course at the Don Shula's Golf Club facility in Miami Lakes, Florida features 6,982 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 72.3 and it has a slope rating of 129 on Bermuda grass. Designed by Bill Watts, the Don Shula's golf course opened in 1962.
