This is a tranquil and scenic course for a round of golf – a spot where you may see herons, deer, beavers and a bald eagle. It all makes Patuxent Greens a great walking course.

Most holes here are tight, tree-lined straight-aways or doglegs. If you're an accurate golfer, you can use your driver off most tees. Be careful about club selection, especially on par-5s. Watch out for water nearby on 16 of the 18 holes. Some holes have water that you don't see it until you get very close to it, but if you manage your shots, you can keep splashdowns to a minimum.
