The Golf Club of Dallas is considered to be one of Dallas’ best kept and oldest secrets. Founded in 1953 and designed by Perry Maxwell, GCD was home to Dallas’ first professional golf tournament, the Dallas Open, from 1958-1967. Today this tournament is known as the HP Byron Nelson Classic. In 1994 & 1995 GCD hosted the Champions Tour Reunion Championship. With the club’s rich history of tournament play, both professional and amateur, the course proves to be something special. Well-manicured 419 bermuda grass fairways and tiff eagle bermuda greens tucked into rolling hills. Full practice facilities, range, bunker, putting and chipping, areas are available to help you hone your game with assistance from the PGA Professional Staff.

The championship golf course is a challenging par 70 at 6719 yards featuring 52 bunkers, one lake, and a winding creek which comes into play on seven holes as it intertwines through the rolling terrain. Our signature hole, pictured below, is the par-4 15th. Playing at 407 yards from the back tees, the 15th features an undulating fairway framed by stately oak and pecan trees, and a picturesque waterfall and creek fronting the green.
