Skellig Bay Golf Club opened in 2006, and the Ron Kirby-designed layout already is considered to be one of the better golf courses in Ireland. With beautiful views of Ballinskelligs Bay, it is among the most scenic as well. It's not just the beauty of the Bay that makes this course special. There are plenty of challenging holes to keep you on your toes. The stretch from Nos. 6-16 is especially memorable for its Bay views and its golf, too. Skellig Bay golf course is framed by many dry-stone walls, which fit comfortably into the landscape and reflect the local heritage.
