Listowel Golf Club is a pleasant golfing getaway for both visitors to the city of Listowel as well as locals who've claimed the club as their own. Designed by Eddie Hackett and opened in 1994, Listowel is known for its pristine course conditions and proximity to the legendary Ballybunion Golf Course -- however, the layout stands on its own as being a great test for players that take it on. Nature is at its finest at Listowel Golf Club. At nine holes of 2,849 yard, par-35 parkland golf, sprawling fairways and towering mature trees -- even those that run through the middle of the course -- greet players from the tee. Thanks to its location adjacent to the River Feale, which can be viewed and heard from the course, guests can also partake in nearly a half-mile of private salmon and trout fishing from the riverbank.
