Abbeyfeale Golf Club is a nine-hole course that is played from the inward and outward tees for a full 18-hole layout. Sprawling across the countryside of South Limerick, the course has a verdant parkland layout. The golf course was founded in 1994 and despite being relatively new, it is characterized by the abundance of mature trees. The layout features rolling fairways and carefully contoured greens that require accuracy and skillful course management, especially in order to avoid the strategically positioned trees and traps. There are sculpted bunkers protecting the greens, adding another level of challenge. Water hazards come into play on a few holes as well. Being a par-61 layout, it may not be enough of a test for low-handicappers but for beginners it is a formidable round. The course is great for a casual round where you can utilize your short game skills. In addition to the course, Abbyfeale offers more practice opportunities with its expansive driving range.
