Castlerock Golf Club's nine-hole Bann course on the sand dunes near the river Bann has a par 5 described as the most scenic in Irish golf. It's appropriately named Bannview. Other holes hint of their attributes, too, such as No. 6, The Pond with a circular pond short and left in front of the green on the par 4, or No. 8, The Chasm. The par 34 links course runs 2,446 yards and is 5 miles west of Coleraine. It features views of Donegal and the Isle of Islay off the coast of Scotland. Castlerock Golf Club also has a short-game practice area.
