Rathmore Golf Club in Portrush is home to the Valley Links, a 6,304-yard, par-70 course. The course sits in a natural valley -- and, as such, is not a flat course -- and was designed by the renowned Harry Colt. Like a good links course, it has its share of humps and undulations. The featured holes are No. 5 and No. 6 -- situated the furthest point from the clubhouse -- both of which make up Valley Links' version of Amen Corner. Five is a 336-yard, short par 4 played from an elevated tee to a green protected on three sides by scary bunkers. The sixth in a 237-yar par 3 that shoots uphill and semi-blind. When you make it back to the Rathmore clubhouse, be sure to enjoy the restaurant and bar, known for its nice wine list.
