The Old Blue course at Wailea Golf Club is the first of three courses at the club, located just off the coast of south Maui. Old Blue originally opened in 1972, long before the luxury resort and residential developments that came to the area in the 1990s. Designed by Arthur Jack Snyder, the course has three sets of tees, playing to a maximum distance of 6,765 yards. Old Blue opens with a dogleg-right par 4 from an elevated tee towards the mountains of west Maui, and there are several magnificent vantage points similar to this throughout the course.
