Las Vegas

Tour the great British Open golf holes without leaving Las Vegas at Royal Links Golf Club

Royal Links Golf Club in Las Vegas provides 18 replica holes from British Open venues. Prestwick, Royal Birkdale and Turnberry's Ailsa Course all have two holes represented. Royal Lytham & St Annes, Royal Liverpool, Royal St. George's and Muirfield are also included. The 7,029-yard course is a maddeningly fun ride thanks to all of the quirkiness of links golf: blind shots, pot bunkers, bad bounces off of rippling fairways and hairy dunes.

Las Vegas nightlife: Lighted Angel Park Golf Club has everything covered

At Angel Park Golf Club in Las Vegas, you could play 18 holes in the afternoon and then head back out for a quick nine holes -- in the dark. That's because Angel Park has you covered -- with plenty of holes and lights if you need them. At the heart are its two 18-hole courses, both designed by Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay. Add to the mix an intriguing par-3 course and Angel Park may be the most complete golf experience in Las Vegas.

If golf is about having fun, then it's hard to go wrong at Rhodes Ranch Golf Club. Located in the southwest part of Las Vegas just a short distance from the Strip, Rhodes Ranch has become a favorite among locals and visitors alike. It's a golf facility that takes care of you from beginning to end. Designed by Ted Robinson, this 6,909-yard layout has all the shots.

Desert Pines Golf Club is unique among Las Vegas golf experiences

Located just minutes from the Las Vegas Strip, Desert Pines Golf Club is anything but a typical desert course. It opened in 1996 to much fanfare as designer Perry Dye brought in thousands of tall Carolina pines to line the fairways. Add to that a few railroad ties, plenty of water, white sand bunkers and excellent bentgrass greens, and golfers experience something that more akin to the Sandhills of North Carolina than the desert landscape of southern Nevada.

Las Vegas MGM Grand and Walters Golf Perfect ingredients for a mancation

If you're a guy, and you've got a few friends, you don't want to take the ultimate golf vacation; you want to take a "mancation." And for that, you have to go to Las Vegas. Here's an itinerary: How about staying at the MGM Grand with three rounds of golf, interspersed with a little gambling, dinner, drinking and a limousine thrown in for good measure?
