The course boasts a ranch-style pro shop, original stagecoach-era troughs, and real Texas barbecue in the clubhouse. It doesn't need any of this Texas flair to be considered a top San Antonio course, however. Now just over a decade old, Canyon Springs deserves mention with public Alamo City standouts like The Quarry, The Bandit, The Republic and SilverHorn Golf Club.
