-Previously on the Big Break V. The ultimate mulligan caused mixed emotions. -Yes, for the 5 of us. It stinks. -The battle was intense throughout the day. -Oh my God. -Oh. -Wow. I was just and this wasn't-- -Now Becky rejoins the competition. -Another solid player's back. -I'm still a little bit more relaxed, not so much worried about the outcome or the result, more focused on the process. -I knew she wasn't gonna pass that. Another opportunity to get back on the show and show what she can do. -So we're curious who you think your toughest competitor is. Jeanne? -I think Ashley handles pressure pretty well and she's got this toughness, their personality is pretty tough too so she's gonna be the one to beat. -She's got something else coming to her. She thinks Ashley's the one to beat. -Obviously she intimidates Jeanne a little bit because I wouldn't have picked Ashley at all. -Ashley, what about you? -I'm gonna go with Becky. She's gotten her 2nd win, second opportunity and she's down on the grind there. I know she's gonna be after it, so I think she's definitely gonna be the strongest to wanna face. -She knows she's lucky for getting the second opportunity and it really feel that she should capitalize on it. -Our Chrysler Immunity Challenge takes us to number 7 on the Palmer Course, Turtle Bay Resort. In fact it involves hole 7, 8, and 9, a par 4, a par 3, and a par 5. You're gonna play some golf alright, but with a twist. -Ladies, we're back to team challenges. We're gonna break you down into 3 teams of 2 and you'll play 3 holes of alternate shot. The team with the lowest cumulative score in the end will win the challenge. -So it's time to pick up teams right now. Here comes Marv, our official. Please draw. -2. -1. -2. -So I was with Jeannie. So that was cool. -3. -1. -Ashley was very, probably the most vocal about me coming back on the show. -I'm feeling good because Becky is my partner because I know she's gonna capitalize on the opportunity she's being given. -3. -I was excited to get matched up with Julie because we play a similar game. -Team 1, ready to go? -Yes. -Yes. -Well, let's do it. -Okay. -Good luck girl. -I'm feeling very confident but then again it's only 3 holes. A lot can happen just those little 3 holes. -Ashley felt more comfortable having the approach shot and I didn't carry either way so I teed off first. -Nice, partner. -She kind of put me in a better place for the pin location and distance-wise. -Ashley had 121 at the pin. She was happy with it and Ashley wanted to just jump up in the air and do the whole like we're awesome. You guys suck. And she just wants to be intimidating and I don't think she's intimidating anybody. -If you want to do what's gonna be best for you to progress in the next show because that's where it's a game. -It was. Jeanne knew it was gonna tee off and then we walk rounds and you know I'll tee it off because she likes sitting here sorting the race. -Come on. -Be good. -Go. -So we end up in the rough but not by much. We have a great lie and a great angle to the pin. -Really fun game. Really puts the pressure on you though because all you wanna do is perform for the other person. You feel bad if you hit it just barely off center you know. -Hang on. -Wow. -It's on the rough. -There may be an obstruction there by a tree. It's a go with it. -I couldn't believe I had just done that. -I was actually shocked. I'm sitting there going wow. Did they just opened the door for us? -I was really upset about that. -To the victor go the spoils and an opportunity of a lifetime, the winner of the Big Break V will receive an exemption to the 2006 LPGA Safeway Classic. Bridgestone Golf will offer the winner an equipment contract to help them boom it on the LPGA Tour. Golfsmith will award a 10-thousand dollar prize package which includes a 5-thousand dollar in-store shopping experience and 5 thousand dollars cash to help them start their career. In preparation for the Safeway Exemption, a developmental package will be awarded to the winner. It includes exemptions to all remaining 2006 Duramed FUTURES Tour events with waived entry fees and coverage of travel expenses. The winner will also receive world-class golf instruction from Dean Reinmuth, fitness training from Katherine Roberts and mental coaching from Dr. Gio Valiante and finally a Chrysler Crossfire Roadster will be awarded to the Big Break V champion to help them travel in style on their road to the tour. -Ashley, wait for me. I've gotta be next. -Good Lord. -Wait. I think we have a short shot and then it will be nice. -I have every confidence in you. -Thank you. -It's definitely a twig. -Did feel in one of these too. -I'm thinking of knocking the line. -How far did you nearly hit an iron? -Alright. Perfect. -That's what I wanted to have to hit. -Kim will be first to play here. She's 119 to the hole. This is a tough green to hold because of the tradewinds. -And we weren't even in trouble. We're just in the rough. That tree really didn't come into play. -Oh. Hang. -Be good. Be good. -Sit, sit, sit. -Be good. -Boy, that just kept going. -That was a good shot, Kim. -They just caught a little flyer and it kept going. -She hit it exactly where she wanted it too. So it just kept on rolling and I was like looking at them going oh perfect. -The wind was very strong coming from behind. Kim's shot did not hold at all. We learned from that. -Where's your club? -It was a club, yes. -Yes. It's good. Let's go. -It was an okay shot. I wasn't too happy with it. -Ashley with the same yardage as Jeanne, 122 yards to the hole. -She only wanted to hit it about 1/10. I knew I could go ahead and be a little bit more greedy but obviously you know it's the 1st hole. You don't wanna get too greedy. -Good shot. -Nice shot. -Great job. -Okay, 2-1. Let's go see where Kim is. -My lie was downhill slope. I had rough about 3 inches behind my ball and then I had about 6 feet of green to work with beyond and it's an elevated shot. It was not a fun chip to have by any means. Her thought was I just wanna get, make sure I at least hit it on the green and give you a roll at it. -Sit down, sit down. -Obviously a safer play then getting toochie with it and leaving it short and having the same chip again. -It's pretty straight from the other side doesn't it? -It is almost that straight, yes. -I'm not riding these greens too well. I'll admit it. -I'm watching at this side, move through that. -Me too, yes. -I move to the other side. -I worry about speed more because that's pretty much what was important at the time. -Go left. -Great roll, Dana. Good job. -Very nice. -Good stroke, good speed. I just had a little tap-in for par. -So I'm gonna help her read it but she obviously has got a feel for it the way she needs to. -22 to 25 feet, a little left to right. -Line just didn't hit it. -Okay? -Okay. -Yes. -Put a good stroke on it. Had a great line. Just didn't quite hit it. -Looks like Becky and Ashley will have par. As will Dana and Jeanne. But Kim is gonna have to drop quite a putt over her par. -And I put a good putt on it. It just didn't go. -Team 3, 5. Team 2, 4. Team 1, 4. -Good putt. -Thank you. Par isn't a bogey. -Any numbering? -Again, one of the tough things about this green it's very deep. It's actually thickly the difference between the front and the back today. It's about 17 paces long. -So now it's my turn to tee off again. The whole par 3 was 141. Just give me an uphill putt little bit right to left. If you're gonna miss it, I'll have you miss it off the right so I can pour it left. -Or I gave Ashley an uphill putt. -I was between 8 and 9-iron. -It was downwind but it was more of the descents that I had the day I want the car. -Good shot. -Do the right club, beautiful. -Sit right there. Sit. -Alright. Good shot. -She hit a perfect shot towards the hole. It released passed the hill, but it was a great shot. -No matter what you do, you end up right. I think you wanna look at the right side of the pin. It's a pretty simple putt over there. -Hang there. Hang. Alright. -Pin high left. -It's headed toward the green. I guess this is about 28 to 30 feet for Ashley. -From that side what do you think? Outside left in? -I don't know. I can't look at it again. -Yes. -Okay. Can I get in there? -Yes, please. -From our side it looked like it almost would fall off right to left but when you go on look on the other side, the whole thing falls towards the water so it was actually gonna go uphill a little bit left to right. -It wasn't an easy putt. You know it wasn't exactly makeable. -Go. -We ride it perfectly. -I just didn't hit it. It left Becky with a good 3 footer. -If you would just to putt down that hill what would you see? -I'll be free just riding that. -Yes. -Pretty downhill actually. -It was a really tricky putt because it was really uphill on the first maybe 10 feet and then it was gonna go downhill, down grain towards the hole. -I think I kind of chickened out. I decelerated and I almost stuffed it. I couldn't believe I had just done that. I didn't even get it halfway there. -I was actually shocked. I'm sitting there going wow. Did they just open the door for us. -I was really upset about that because that was a very important time of the immunity challenge. -She's really. Dana on the 4th now. -When I lined up on one side it looked like it was pretty straight. On one side it looked like it was gonna go pretty good to the right. That putt was all about matching speed and line anyway. -Go. Go. -That was-- -She almost holed it. I thought she'd made it. -It was a cool moment to see Kim get that excited. -I think the player that all kind of held the brass because you kind of saw. It's kind of close but no cigar. -Julie came almost in with a birdie there. They're 1-over right now but Dana and Jeanne faced with a par putt here that could bring Kim and Julie right back into the mix. -They're already one shot behind us. It could be a help for us because if we make bogey on this hole, we would still be tied. -Right. -Now Dana and Jeanne would come back. -I looked back and kind of a tough putt in the sense of like pressure putt. -Good. -So Ashley and Becky in for par. -Good putt. -Becky and Ashley were up by 1. Myself and Jeanne, Julie and Kim were down by 1. -So we feeling pretty good going into the last hole. -Becky and Ashley have a lot of skill that intimidates you. You wanna take the best in at this point because then that means that one of them is going home. For me I would like to see Ashley go. -More photos and exclusive video of the Big Break contestants and lots of Big Break goodies available online at the golfchannel.com -Like every feature a final hole this par 5, 9th and as it turned out Ashley and Dana will be in the tee box so we get to see them really tough and its' coming in to par. -We were playing for par because we want to force them to make a birdie. -It's a par 5 and we had never played the hole before so we thought that there's definitely a chance. -Now we're even and the only 2 groups are 1-over going to par 5. -That's the position that you go into when it's match play. I mean you wanna force the other group to do something miraculous. -There's a door open here for us. -And we debated on hitting the 3-wood. -I've been hitting my driver really, really well and she was well if you're confident with your driver, Ash, go with your driver. -Sit. -Okay. That is good. It's fine. -It's fine, yes. -Pulled her a hair but actually set her up wasn't too bad of a position. -If you hit it too far there are some Banyan trees and then to the right, a water hazard. -I didn't completely kill it but I you know I hit a solid and so we ended up and so we were safe. -She may just rolled me to the first cover in the rough. -Dana has to really get her team's part right here. -I always lost self defeat and I saw the girls hit big draws with the wind so I wanted to try and get a fatal something like that. -The key was to put ourselves in play for the next round. -Wow. -Hang on. -Good job. -Get left. -Got winds. This better be good. -Good job. -To keep straight. -Good job, Dana. -Okay, Dana. -Good one. -For the hazard almost came into play but we're on the rough but we were safe. -She's killed that ball. She's way ahead. -Where we going? -I should hit 3-wood. -Yes. You went with what your most comfortable with. -Alright, partner. Good shot. -Thanks. -Kim right now has 276 to the hole. The fairway really starts to narrow about 125 yards away. -We had 278 to the hole and she goes well where do you want it and I mean I'd go with the pin, as I love a pitching wedge in, 125-yard shot. -105-yard shot? -And if you have 175 and you don't hit it great, then that's fine. I'll be a little bit more up. -Are you comfortable with that? -Yes. -Okay. -Perfect. Absolutely perfect. -Beautiful shot. -Well done. -Just down, right down the middle. -Obviously ideally the best angle to come into this hole would be on that left side because that would take that right green side bunker out of play. If you come on with a tree and just keep it rolling on up there and I can work with whatever yardage you give me. -Really? -Yes. -Okay. -For me being such a high ball hitter, I had to keep it low, really low. I'll need that for sure. We can make par from there. You know if you can't make par from there you shouldn't be a professional. -Stay out of the bunker. Sit, sit. -It's fine. You got the angle. -Left me about, got enough room before the bunker and made me get a little nervous watching it go up. -It may be the first cut of golf there but what an angle they have to the hole. -Flirting with the water. -That was actually a really good line in to the hole. -Okay. -You know like, just take it in that gut of the green with whatever you wanna take it out. -This hole is very narrow. It's got bunkers everywhere and the wind picked up so we knew that the ball could just roll everywhere. -Thanks. -I never hit that great a shot but it ended up perfect. -Great 2nd shot by Jeanne. -And that is location there right there. That's perfect. -Alright. Get to it. -I hope I have a stance. -Me too. -So Becky and Ashley narrowly missing that fairway bunker about 86 yards to the hole. -It's uphill -I'll weave it. -She didn't have a great lie. That was sitting up. The bow is definitely about a feet. Mine was about 53 or 54 inches. -Left me by a tough wedge shot. -Alright. It's freaking high huh. -I was a little disappointed with how I hit my wedge. I would've liked to have gotten there inside 10 to 15 feet. -Becky and Ashley, we have a lot of skill between the two. -If you wanna take the best in at this point because then that means that one of them is going home. For me I would like to see Ashley go. -I think everybody is getting down to business and it truly has become a doggy dog competition, which is what it should be. -Sit. Sorry. -Nearly came inside and out on that shot. That surprised me. -We had to attack the pin because birdie was probably the only thing that could pull the playoff. -Go. -Release, release. -Really didn't have it a lot quite but I got it to where it needed to be. -It was a very good miss. -That's okay. -I think it's better than I think it is. -Let's go see. -She was back in the game, period. She's back in the game. I'm not gonna dwell on the fact that she got back in after being eliminated. If I could pick right now 2 people in the finals and I could pick Becky and then the finals also I would do that. -Okay. All the teams are lying 3 right now. We have 2 on Ashley and Becky, Jeanne and Dana. Kim and Julie are just off the green. -She had to go for it. I told her I said whatever you-- I just said get it there. You have to go for it. -Kim and Julie in the situation, they just have to hit it and pray. -It's more of a speed on it. -Hit it, hit it. -Oh. -Right, right baby. -She did what she had to do. -I meant to go for it but not kill it. -So here comes Ashley. What a putting contest here. -I think about 4 inches outside the hole. Just depends on what you think. -If Ashley and Becky make this pretty putt, they win. -So, too much break. A good speed tap-in for par. -Good, Ashley. -Okay. Ashley and Becky even after 3 holes of play. Only 1 team that can beat them right now. That's Dana and Jeanne. Comes down to 1 putt. -I was nervous over the putt because Becky and Ashley had already missed a birdie putt so I knew that my only chance was right there. -She is probably still pretty frustrated with herself in the previous putt. Jeanne and I mean she was due for a good putt. -This is my one chance, my last chance to have immunity, so I wanna do it for the team. -Yes, yes. -Oh, Jeanne. -Good putting. -I felt very good after that because I had felt so bad about the previous hole, about my putt being so short that I felt so responsible. I felt really good about you know making a clutch putt. -Yes, yes. -Oh, Jeanne. -That was amazing so I saw Ashley's face go crap and everyone else is excited so that was cool. She was excited. I was excited. -We both knew that putt was gonna be made. We knew Jeanne was not gonna miss that putt. -She stepped up and knocked that baby in. We got a playoff. -They've proven to be the next 2 strongest against us. -Dana wanna car because she won 3 immunities. You win 3 immunities, that obviously means you've been doing something right. -The pressure that you feel in this the Big Break is just so intense. -I believe in myself. I know I am good enough to make it out there. I wanna be a dominant playing on the LPGA. -I have very high expectations for myself. I always do. -She's extremely confident and to have that on your team is something you want on your team not to play against. -Well apparently 3 holes weren't enough. Jeanne has thought that pretty clutch birdie putt could send this into a playoff so we're back to the number 9th tee. -Jeanne and Dana, you're gonna lead us off. -Thanks. -Good luck everyone. -Good luck guys. -Go girls. -Good luck girls. -I mean my birdies haven't slept so I have the same plan. -There wasn't really much discussion at all. We'd play the shots. I've hit the drives. She hits the 2nd shot. So we've been doing it again. -Hang on. -Wow. -I lost it. -I didn't see it either. -We didn't know where exactly it landed. We knew she hit it a little bit more left than she needed to but didn't know there was a bunker behind that tree. -I knew the line and I was gonna correct it from the previous shot, so I felt pretty good with it but then once I saw the way it did first, I almost went to a 3-wood and then I played the hole. Guessing game and I didn't get mentally set the way I should've. I completely just chickened out of my swing because I didn't trust it and I should've hit a 3-wood off the tee. -Oh, man. -Her only hope is that she's far enough back from that tree. -She knows it. -It's alright ma'am. -They got lucky for not going into any of those bunkers. And we got very unlucky with the lie we had. -What are the options-- -No. Don't worry about it. Hey. Hey, we can still make 4. We can. -The good news I think for Ashley and Becky is it's not Jeanne and Dana's shot. -Yes. -First of all. -You got that right. -I'm glad I bailed out my of driver as early as I did. Otherwise I'd be right next to Jeanne in the bunker. -We got lucky. We got really lucky. -I was a little intimidated by my shot. I had a good lie and I definitely had a shot. But once again I'd keep it below the trees and this time I was little farther back. -I think they will just take it. You know the bunkers in the back there. -Yes. -See the last lip right there. -You do what you need to do with this shot to get it in a safe place. -I heard it clipped the tree and I didn't know where it went. I thought maybe it went in the water. -Alright. -And then we see the ball then perfectly in the middle of the fairway like we meant to do it there. -Oh wow. They're in play and not only are they in play but they're really close to the green. -With a safe shot here would be to play it short of the water hazard, not leave the fairway. -You see I'm on that line. And he opened the clubface that's gonna cut it out. Is that what you're thinking anyway? -Yes. -Yes. -We had to somehow get it to go forward so that we even have the chance for the green on the 3rd shot. -We trusted Jeanne. You got it. -Okay. -Glad I didn't have that shot. -Right, right. Right. -Go. go. -Right. right. -Go. Go. -Right. -Go. -Right. -Go. -Right. -Go. -Go. -Go. -Good try. -Where in the hell did I draw it from there? -Jesus. -We are trying to win the immunity challenge. We're not trying to tie it. I pretty much knew we had to make the putt to either tie again or win the hole because someone with birdie was gonna get out. -Well, talk about a break. -Absolutely. -That ball could've easily bounced to the left into the water hazard. -We were in play you know. We got a few drop from the cart path. We were still optimistic at that point. -That is about the best they could've hoped for. -We still had a great little lie down there and nice fluffy grass, both sits off in this place. I love it. -But there's a lot of work to do for Dana. -We had 180 yards and the green is elevated so it was hard to run it up there. -3 to 5 and the wind will take care of it. -Yes, hearing sudden death and you have to go for it. -Left, left. Yes. Good up. Oh my God. -Upsy now. -That was-- -We got a really, really lucky kick free of the bunker but I felt we're lucky. We deserved it. -We thought we had to make birdie. -How far do we have? -94 to the pin. -The monkey give me anymore than 15 feet. I can assure you that. -Just stick it close. -Really perfect position. -It's good. -Good shot. -Considering the situation that was a pretty clutch shot to pull off. -Ashley's a player. -She got herself about 8 feet for birdie. -Well Dana and Jeanne, a very makeable trip on this one. -Well pin high on the rough line 3, they're line 3 with a fairly stroke putt. We had to make the joke because we are trying to win the immunity challenge. We're not trying to tie it. -I've put in much that we had to make the putt to either tie again or win the hole because someone with birdie was gonna get out. -Sister, good try. -Thank you. -Good try. -I give it all my chance and Dana could easily make par with it. That makeable putt coming back which was good because we still had the pressure on them. If I had to make that putt to win. -Just like left edge to the left side. Kind of like going to the left edge and that would cup. -I like that. -Good. -Becky's have plenty of experience trying to hit clutch putts. I mean she's a USWA champ. -She knows what clutch putt feel like. -There's a stroke on. -Ashley and Becky has a putting opportunity to move on to the next show and take Katherine on. -Oh. -Yes. -And there it is. -Thanks. -Good job, Becky. -After all this work we have to go to elimination challenge. That kind of smoked. -What I find ironic is that you know Ashley when we first talked about Becky kind of getting back on the show on the playback, you weren't all that sold on it but she kind of came in handy this time, didn't she? -You're liking me now. -Yes. She came in handy. You know what they say. You keep your friends close, your enemies closer. -Are you? -So I'm an enemy? -Oh. -Right. -There's a time to toot your horn and there's a time when you don't. -I respect her as a competitor. She respects me as a competitor so you keep your friends close and your enemies closer. And that day my enemy was very close in the highest respect of a way. -I guarantee it would all get ugly between her and I if we're together. -She was better off lost the immunity. -Alright. -You've been fighting with her. -No. -Well good thing you're safe and on to the next show. -We played well together, yes. -You sure did, but the 4 remaining, Julie, Kim, Dana, and Jeanne. It's time for the elimination challenge. Let's get right to it. -I think it shows the talent of the players that one is eliminated to win the competition that brought which was really, really impressive. -After Ashley and I had won the immunity, there's this feeling that came over me. It was guilt I think a little bit. -She's back in the game, period. She's back in the game. I'm not gonna dwell on the fact that she got back in after being eliminated. If I can pick right now 2 people in the finals and I could pick Becky and then the finals I would do that because I think it would represent a great match. -You can't be mad and control everything. You just have to accept everything that's going on and just find your heart is. -You're gonna have to play your strongest now. You're gonna have to play your best now. There's not really chances to mess up anymore. -One of those 4 is gonna go home after today. -It's elimination time and that takes us to the 18th green of the Palmer Course at Turtle Bay Resort. Once again, Ashley and Becky, congratulations on winning immunity. They're off to the next show. For the other 4, we have this challenge with a bit of a twist. Now on our last challenge you were paired up with a teammate. In this challenge for the first portion of it, you'll be playing that former teammate as your opponent. -There will be 2 rounds like Vince mentioned. In the first one, you'll square off against your teammate. Now the key here is you must get the ball up and down. If a player gets up and down when the other does not, they are safe and on to the next show. If you tie, if both of you fail to get the ball up and down, you repeat the same location. -Alright. Our first location awaits. Let's get there now. -If that's what you need to do, if you wanna be an LPGA player, it's all gonna come back to that. -The elimination challenge set up well for me. I was confident going into it. -Dana and I were fighting so hard as a team. We wanted to encourage each other and all of a sudden one of us will get immunity and one of us will have to move on to the next round. -Sort of a shock you know. You're a partner with someone and then now you've got to go up against him. -Julie and Kim, you're the first match. Julie, you have the honors. -Alright. -Good luck. -Okay. A smaller group, your chances of being sent home are much more likely. -Sit down. Sit down. -It just flew forever and I was lucky that it spun. -That's the shot you fear hitting it thin. You have water behind. -Sure. -For the rest of these players who just saw that shot puts a little lump in their throat. -So I was a little nervous at that point. That's up and down so it's reality golf. -It's a good shot right there. -Nice shot. -Really? -And I had the same putt that I've had in the elimination challenge prior that was on that same hole. -Interesting putt because I remembered Kristina having a putt somewhere to that and she blew it bye bye a lot because she had to go it there. -And it started to kind of leak and riding them, hey you, don't leave. You know. -Look at this. -Oh. -Wow. -Good try. -Kicking the hole. Wow. -Great after that one. -Thought I had it and that would've been really a pop me upper but you know I mean. You don't expect to make those putts necessarily. -Okay. Pressure is on Kim now. -I've just got to really step it up a notch and then pull off a good shot. -Nope. -Missed opportunity by Kim there. Alright. So back to the bunker they go. -It was almost like a sudden death kind of match play format so you never know who's gonna win in that kind of situation. -So we get back to the bunker because neither one of us have gotten up and down. -I was gonna change clubs. If I would've hit my 60 decent, I would've ended up in the exact same spot where my 56 left me. -It's caught a little bit too much sand, but that's overcompensation. And you have the wind coming in to it plus you have the water behind the green. It's extremely intimidating bunker shot. -Look at that. -Alright, Kim. -Okay, Kim. -It was a tough up and down. I don't care who you were. -Here's Julie with another opportunity to throw the pressure right back on Kim. -It's pretty simple putt, and under pressure it's hard to hit a putt hard because you don't wanna smack it. -Get there. -I walked off doing just get the freaking ball off the freaking hole, Julia. Like is it that hard to just get it to the hole. We didn't have to worry about 3-putting it because if you didn't make the first time, then what the heck. So get into the hole. -I'm sure Kim got a good read off of Julia's putt there. -She was on the same line so I got to see her ball roll so if I didn't know the line by then, I should just go home. -And in. -Oh. Solid. -Good shot. -It felt incredible. I think the closer you get to elimination the relief was incredible at that moment. -So Kim's safe and on to the next show. -Kim, congratulations. You're on to the next show. Julie, not to worry. You will have another opportunity coming up. -2nd match in round 1, Dana and Jeanne. Dana, you have the honors. Good luck ladies. -Good luck. -Well good luck, Dana. -I was actually really devastated especially after seeing Julie fly heads free. -It was not a good thing to see them not make up and now it was like it doesn't look that difficult. -I felt like actually standing up there and just chipping it out like not even maybe playing a bunker shot because it was not linked. -It was almost like a sudden death kind of match play format so you never know who's gonna win in that kind of situation. -Oh. I hit really fat. It's really not a way to play bunker shot. -So probably had a little bit less pressure to stick it close but I had to keep my mindset. -I'm trying to make up and down and move on here. So it was like Jeanne stay focused. You know the goal is to make up and down. Forget what Dana just did. Just stick to your routine. -Good shot. -Stay. -Good shot, Jeanne. -Go. -Very nice, Jeanne. -Wow. Dana at times, sometimes it worked. -It's a tough challenge. Comes down to 1 shot again. It's always the sudden death thing all over again. It's okay. No worries. I'm looking pretty much the result rather than the process. -Well, it's looks to be about 8 feet. She made a big putt right here on the show. [unk] so she can do about everybody. -I feel good over the putt. I saw barely any break. It was almost straight. Maybe a little right to left. -One putt, she's on to the next show. -If I miss it, it really doesn't do anything so I try to be firm with it. I was aggressive with my stroke. -Boom. -Yes, she did it. -Great up and down. -Great putt. -Wow. -Putting is a difficult thing to do when you're under pressure and I was glad with the way I handled myself. It just feels great to make a clutch putt. -I personally think it's all that timing. I mean we held up a shot but you just have to pull one at exactly the right time. -It's elimination challenge and the nerves are, the nerves are kicking. They're just kicking. -This is the 2nd part of the elimination challenge, and for those who didn't advance to the 1st round, Dana and Julie, what we have for you is a flop shot over the bunker and a little water in view as well. So lots to think about here, the least of which, maybe not the least of which, is the fact you're trying to stay alive on the show. -We had a random draw for the order. Dana, you'll lead us off. Good luck ladies. This is it. -Good luck. -Okay. -Elimination. It's down to me and Julie. -I love Dana at that and so to go head-to-head with her you have to put everything aside and become competitors. Not a fun situation to be in. -Oh, this could get interesting. One little shot like this anything can happen. -And that's an intimidating shot. When you see water behind, it's just a position you just don't put yourself in. -Good. Sit. -Good. -Okay. -It was 12 feet, makeable. -Mentally, it was more difficult. Physically, I don't think it was. -She hit bunker, seeing water, okay. How does the professional focus and just play target and good swing approximately there? -These professionals know. This shot is already in the bag. They know the fundamentals of it. They know how to hit it more importantly. -Visually it was hard because you're going over a bunker and you've got water in the other side but really I mean if you're gonna hit a bad shot you hit it into the water, then whatever. -You have to play every shot like it's your last. Go at it. Be aggressive. -This whole thing is all timing. If you hit a great shot when you should, then you're gonna go on. -Emotionally, there's nothing comparable over this. -So bad. So bad. -Damn golf ball. -Well this is Dana with a chance now to end this and move on to the next show. -There was not a doubt in my mind that she wasn't gonna make it. -And no matter what, I still know the best golfer will come out of this hole. -It just tend to wipe in and I'll be step but I put a really good stroke on it and I was happy with that. -I was shocked that she left it where she left it. -Well, back we go. -See if they've learned anything from their first shots. -I personally it's all that timing. I mean we all got the shots but you just have to pull them off at exactly the right time. -It's elimination challenge and the nerves are, the nerves are kicking. They're just kicking. -Sit. Get down. Get down. -She hit hers the kind of where I hit mine in the first time. That's hard to watch and keep on going. -Hit it, hit it. Hit it. Sit. -Truthfully I thought it was gonna hit the pin. -Could have rolled farther down that hill but it stopped. -It's unlike anything. The pressure is double of what anything I've ever felt. I'm the kind of person that I really have to talk myself into it. You've done it before. You can do it again. Just do this. Just do this. -Oh wow. -I thought that one was down in. -I had a really good look on it. -Make it go on, miss it, you don't. That's the ideal pressure situation. Seeing her thing I was, when you're standing out there putting until dusk at your home course and you're making 5-footer saying alright, make it for the U.S. Women's Open Championship. You know. Everything rides on this putt. -Yes. -Well done. -Good job. -I love you. -I love you very much. -I've gotten to know Julie well the last few days and it was tough to say that because I was I was like crap and that sucks. -Put the flag in the hole and kind of just went down on my knees and was like that was really hard. You know send your friend packing. That's not fun. -Dana has by far proven that she's one of the stronger players. Yet one little uncomfortable shot can send you home. -We started this morning with 6 players. We're now down to 5. Dana, you had an incredible performance throughout this competition. Which one of things you'll take away from this experience? -Send your car. -Yes. That's the big one. Just knowing that I mean that was a really big experience and like all that shots of that kind, that just really gave me a lot of confidence so that's gonna be my favorite memory I think. -You're definitely not walking away empty-handed. -Now we can take attendance and count people up on 1 hand. There are 5 of you remaining, for now. We'll see you on the next show. -Good luck, girls. -Thanks. -You too. -I'll see someone tomorrow, some port to leave. -Nothing ever comes on an end like knowing there's never an end. There's always something beyond something else. That's the kind of philosophy I like to have. -Next time on the Big Break V. The players turn against each other during the most intense challenge yet. -She either needs to step up everything or talk a little less. -By the end of the show, the competition will be down to the final 4. -She hasn't had the pressure put on her and she needed that. -It all happens next time on the Big Break V. -I wanna play to prove to myself that I have the game and to challenge and get better. That's how I wanna be known in golf.
