-Ten women share 1 dream, to tee it up on the LPGA Tour. On the Big Break III, one woman will earn that right, but it won't be easy. Each week, challenges will test the limits of their games and one by one they will be eliminated until only one woman remains. In the next hour, the ladies come together for the first time. -People are not nice to because she's so pretty. I think they really intimated by her -As the competition begins. -Game phase goes on. It's time to play. I think tension is gonna build each day you make the shot or you're going home. -We're going to this humanly. How tough you are in the heat of competition. -Vince Cellini and former LPGA Stephanie Sparks Stepanie Sparks will be with the women as the competition heats up. I love being friends with these girls, but that's not what I'm here for. -That was the coolest thing I've ever done. -For one of these women, the road to the LGPA tour begins here on the Big Break III Ladies Only. -Welcome to [unk] center how are you today? -Good, thanks, how are you? -Fine, thank. -Hello. -Your get, welcome to Orlando and congratulations on the selection as the contestants of the Big Break III Ladies Only. -I thought there will be lots of girls here. -I thought I have to make a putt coming into the hotel or something. Are you seeing through this? -But I see what's going on. -I think that my anxiety is growing as we speak. -Hi. -Please take some time this afternoon to relax and rest a little at the hotel as we have very busy and exciting schedule ahead of us. -Hello ma'am welcome [unk], how are you doing today? -We love to be spoiled a little bit here and there. -Hi, how are you? -Hello everybody. -I know what to expect on golf events, but this is the first time, I have no clue. -How are you doing? Welcome to [unk] -Nice, thank you. -I think you don't really exactly know what you're getting yourself into. -Welcome to [unk] -Thank you. -I'm on my behavior. -My deal is I'm trying to challenge me and I do what I have to do when I have to do it. I'm perfect. -Woo, yahoo, you found me. -So, I'm excited. I'm imagining that when you open this door, there's gonna be snakes and alligators. -The beginning-- -Dinner will be tonight at 8 o'clock. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you a little later, kind regards, Big Break III team, alright. -Yeah, and I'm the first one here. I'm the first person who walks into the room. I'm just sitting there and everybody was staring at me and nobody will talk to me. It's horrible. This is really uncomfortable. -It was me going into executive suite with just Sasse, Sarah there. Poor thing was sitting there with all these cameras just pointing there just like machine guns, you know, and she is just sitting there. She is like oh thank God somebody will talk to. -Sarah, nice to meet you. -Nice to meet you too. -She was real cute in such she played in Nebraska and, you know, I got some scoop on her and she got some scoop on me. I'm sure she was thinking like, oh my God, who's this old lady, yeah, but she was cool. -I played on the LPGA Tour 25 years ago for 3 years. -Wow. It's great. -And I married a guy in the men's tour, so I became-- -You much be pretty darn good. -It was good enough to make it, but it wasn't good enough to stay there. -You know, Cindy miller sounds like she quite a history in the golf world, so we're gonna some sticks in this group. -When I came in on the room, I-- you know, I'm like, oh, okay, we're here, so that's, you know, I see the 2 girls was there, and I'm like okay, finally, I've kind of meet these girls. It was fun. -Where you from. -Valeria, I'm from Columbia. -Valeria, she is Peso. -I show you-- -I thought where did the find her? -She's so cute and what a great accent and the find out that she's got 3 children. I was like wow, that's awesome. -Skirt? I don't ever wear a skirt, are you kidding me. I'm a golfer. We don't wear skirts and I don't wear heels, but anyway, so I'm sitting and walking in room practicing making sure that I can walk on with heels and not tripping and falling and make myself look like a huge goof. -Hi. -Hi. -Hello. -Hello. -How are you? -Good, how are you guys? -Good. -Good. -I'm Lizzy. -Liz look like more of the person that I thought everybody was gonna look like, you know, little jockey, and you know, future tour player. -Lizzy Uthoff, she is hilarious. I played in some tournaments in junior golf with her. Since, so I just like, oh great, it's a relief to know somebody here. -I come to make sure that we can bring her it on bikinis and said no. -No bikini. -[unk]. -I was just joking. -You want to-- -She was like-- she's like you can bring it, but you can't wear it, that's okay. -I don't know what to expect when we walked into the room. -No, and we have to-- -And when I walked in, I recognized Valerie right away because I played with her before and I was very relieved to see some of the other girls and the fun started once we all got together. -We played together the practice round, the US Open. -And I was impressed. She just like-- the drive and flew me like for worth 50 yards and oh my-- -Okay. -Yeah, my-- -Good. -I was very surprised to find out she has only played golf for 3 years and that she hits a 300 yards. -My senior in college said, we'll maybe I should learn how to play golf and so it's been 3 years. -You're kidding. -That's awesome. -I learn how to play golf. -Now that you turn pro, you're like-- you're gonna go-- I should say it's my first day as a pro, I don't know-- -When I walked in I was just like, okay, they're gonna love you or they gonna hate you. -You know what I was really hoping, I was like, please don't let me be the only pretty one, I'm so glad everybody is pretty, hi, how are you doing. -This is all out of your control. You have strangers picking you up. You have no clue who you're meeting. You have no clue who anybody else and what you're going, so, your mind just wonders. -First of all, she's just gorgeous. She has like the perfect little body on her. -You know, I played in tournaments that she has played in. I'd never really matter, but she has a hard [unk]. People aren't nice to her because she's so pretty. I think they're really intimidated by her. I think I'm queen of being the worse statistic putter on tour. I said I should be the best as many putt I have. -Especially, there is lying the hall before we walk into the room and-- once we walked in that room I was surprised, I thought, I'd recognized a lot more people than I did. -How are you honey? Good to see you. -[unk] Cindy Miller? What's up? -How are you doing. Jan is really cool. I played with her last year in the Futures Tour and she was great. -How long you've been in the tour. -Forever with [unk]. -Really? -We're-- -When I walked in, I was just like, okay kid, they're gonna love you or they gonna hate you, try to put a smile on, you know, be nice. What's up girls? -Hello. -How are you doing? -Good. -You know what I was really hoping, I was like, please don't let me be the only pretty one. I'm so glad everybody is pretty, hi, how are you doing. -Felicia stole the show, so, right when we got in that room, every just relaxed, took a deep breath, and did all just kind of went from there. I was almost last to come in. I knew what I was there for and they were waiting for me and it was like a relief to finally see everyone and have it all come to person and that was great. Compared to Felicia, Debbie seemed little quite, but again just as nice and just as pleasant as everybody else. -So, all of you are playing golf for real? -I'm like the only one-- -Sometimes you call it that. -Well, no, I'm saying that because I decided one day okay, I'm just gonna do this. -Good. -You know, I'm-- -I was the last one in the room and that was-- that was actually I think a little intimidating in a way because, I mean, everybody kind of know each other's names and I'm like, oh, I have to remember 9 names really, really quick, which was like being in camp, very quick. -Oh, there's like people here, yeah! -And then Tasha came in after me and she is the only one here that I had know for previously from playing on tour. So, it was kind of nice to feel like okay there's someone here I know. -In beginning, I thought I might be a little caddie or there might be some sorority house drama, but we all just clicked. -We're all just kind of throwing into mix in this exciting thing that we know little about. You never know what happens with women, but this was easy. It was really simple. It was great. -It was kind of a relief like for everyone and everyone just kind of relax and everyone grabbed the drink and then we went down stairs for dinner. -I think everybody's number goal I just to hey, we'll start out. Let's have a big family and just making a family right off of that. -I surprised at the girls' personalities being so wild like for the first time I wasn't allowed [unk] group. -Oh Pam to let me play everyday. -That's a whole. -Try to set a great round, a good enough, what you want for dinner? -Everyone got the super bubbly personality and it's almost hard to get a wording because everyone just got that type A personality and it's been awesome. -Alright, cheers everybody, it's Big Break III, welcome, have a great 10 days. -We toast to light good times regardless of the outcome and to the Big Break III because you know what best while we're here. -I thought we have to hit bunker shot on the sand there. Who knows what? We didn't know what to expect, but we said whatever it is gonna be great. -We have no clue or goal. -Then, that's fun, I think that excitement of the unknown is fun. -I know I felt a little bit nevous because we didn't know what was gonna happen. -Look out for the snakes. -Oh, look to that. -We're all looking at each other like why are we here? -All this and we woke up to the challenge. -I thought we have to hit bunker shot on the sand there. Who knows what? We didn't know what to expect. We said, whatever it is it's gonna be great. -How are you doing ladies? -Good, how are yourself? -What do you think? Welcome to Discovery Cove here in Orlando. -And also we were getting like, hey Vince. -This is cool. We're gonna have a lot of fun. -You know, to have somebody notable like Vince in the mix is just-- just makes it that much more real. -Now, this is just step one and what we know is gonna be an amazing adventure for you. It's gonna test you as a person, certainly test you as a player, and as you can see, we already have some surprises setup for you. The whole show is about surprises. We wanna keep you on your toes. So, we're gonna get to know each other a little bit today, but I understand you've had a chance to kind of get to know one another, spend some time together. -And say hi. -And I'd like to get some first impressions and understand-- Felicia, you're the person to talk to about that. -Did you hear anything? -Yeah, we're talking. -So, tell me, what are your impressions of the group, tell me. -Actually, I'm very, very surprised. There's a bunch of nice ladies. I thought we're gonna come in to some drama. And then it's just, you know, 10 ladies, you know, what I'm saying, so I am just very, very-- It's just a nice situation. -Right, right. -I'm pleasantly surprised. -Alright, who's the wild one of the group or wild ones, I should say. -We have no found out that yet. -Oh, the fingers point everywhere. I like that. -[unk] about this. -Exactly. -But you guys really have some fun, right? -Absolutely. -It's gonna be terrific and as you could see as I talked about, we have little challenge setup, and the first thing we're gonna do, chipping and putting, you're playing for. All expense is paid, trip for 4 back here to discovery cove and all of the Anheuser Busch theme parks in Florida, okay, Busch Gardens, Sea World, you'll do it up, you're coming back. Alright, so you guys are ready to go? -Yeah. -Alright, let's crank it up. -The competitors will randomly divided into teams of 2 where they will have 9 seconds to accumulate as many points as possible by hitting balls into the targets. The team with the most points will move on to compete against each other in a putting challenge. -Come on, let's get going. The whole situation is intimidating, you know, not knowing what the whole challenges mean, doubt. I have no idea. -We're looking at each and take 1, okay, deep breath, just made contact. You know, we're hoping not the hustle shots of this match. -Alright, 3, 2, 1, go. Go, you're on the clock. -Go. -Feels good. -Come on. And it was like rapid fire. -We're like okay, fast, fast, fast. -The more better, more opportunities. -15 seconds, nice. -Yeah. -3, 2, 1, alright, hey, great job. Score was 12. -I know I have the wrong club. -Nice. -That was like I kind of walk off going why did I pull my lob wedge. Like, am I the dumbest human being ever, like come on. -Where my second team? -Right here. -Guys ready step up. -Yeah, good luck. -Let's go. -The first reaction, actually, Janet, do you not go with what? Your strength, sorry. If you are good at dialling on that 3-point spot, go for it. -Go. -Oh, little touch. The ice is broken. She is money. -I know my adrenalin was pumping when we were chipping. It's a lot easier to what than just actually perform. -5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Alright great job. -I really thought we did a good job because we only have the 1 team before to compare to, and it was like alright. -And I wanna tell you, 12 was the score to beat, come back in, you guys more than double that, 25 was your score. -Alright. -So, now we really have something to shoot for great work. It's getting more little intense, isn't it ladies? -Where's team 3? -Here. -Right here. -And was the third team to here, then I think that helped us a lot. -Go. -Oh, what a strategy. Good job. -And look at the number 2 target and I was like I got-- this is not a touch shot for me. All I got to do is taking that pitching wedge, put it back in my stance and just hit the ball. It's gonna go in. -15 seconds. 3, 2, 1. -And we got 7 more points than the group in front of us and that point, you know, we were feeling pretty good. -32. -Woo! Yeah. -Just keeps getting better. -Oh yeah. -It just keeps getting better. You're dialled in on a 2 target, love it, did you? -Right. -Yeah. -Yes, we did. -Just nail it right on that. -Making a living up those 2. -Great work. -I was glad. That I was able to go toward the end. It allowed me to see that they had a lot of time, just stay cool, Come and collect it and zero in. -Go. -Woo! For 3! All the 3 pointer again. Ow! The bank 3, the bank is open, 15. -You now that you have to win in order to advance the putting. So, I was thinking or say just go through 3 pointer, all are none. -5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Woo -You made a lot-- -This ought to be good. -I just zeroed in on the 3 and said, go for it and I never change my mind. -39 points and that's the score to beat and we have 1 team left. Now, remember, the winner moves on to the putting challenge. This is it. It's do or die right now, Cindy, Felecia, this is it. It's what it's all about. Let's step up. Are you ready to go? -39 is the point, 39, can you top it? -Every time someone will get up there, we would whisper in each other's ear and we're going, okay, don't think about the rain. Oh, I thought we had a chance. -Go. Right down the center. -I kind of zeroed in on the 2 and I think that was a smart move. -I counted all the points and I was siting there and then my breath going 2, 4, 6, 8, 9. I was getting nervous. -5, 4, 3, 2, 1, alright. Hey 39 was the score to beat, right? and you know what dropped in some of those late 3's. -No. -But just came up shy, 35. -That is right, that is right! -So the winners, the winners, Pam and Debbie, great job. -Good job girls. -The next challenge was the putting where we had to go head to head and there was no more body talk then. step on over lady. -The next challenge was the putting where we had to go head to head and there was no more body talk then. -I was nervous, you know, I have not played in many tournaments. Let alone anything televised. -We set it up for you. This is your putting challenge. -Competitor will have chance to make a putt from 4 feet. If both make the putt, they will move on to the next distance, putting until 1 misses. You are first. -You will get them daddy. -One chance. -It's always an easy putt and it doesn't matter. They always go in when they don't matter or when they matter. Of course, there's an extra pressure. -Oh, solid. -She got up and just boom right in and like, ow, ow. I couldn't even-- You know, my hands shaking as I putt the ball down. -My putter moves so much. -Very nice. -And I made it, that was a-- it was big tons of relief to make that first putt. -6 footer. -I actually read it wrong. I thought that it was left edge and it didn't break as much, so and I pulled it just a hair, so-- -Oh boy. -Ouch. -And then she missed. -And I said and all those thinking over ball, not one other thought except oh with this trip would be so fun. -My ball moved just out of county. -Ow! -Right, line them up again. -I was relieved to see her missed at all I'll tell you that, but you know I thought she drained it. -Stay aligned. -Staying aligned, staying aligned. Do the celebration with everybody? -Yeah, this is so much easier if I were not shaking. -I noticed that cup wasn't cut very deep, then if you don't hit directly in the middle of the cup it's not going in. So, I thought, you know what, this is really kind of difficult. You could hit a good putt and not make the putt. So, not only are you nervous, but you need to be lucky. -That's the one. -And the she made it and I'm thinking, oh this trip would be really fun, don't miss it. -Oh shoot! -And I made it. It was very nerve wracking. -Well done. -I wasn't any different though. The line was the same. It was just little extra tough, so another extended tapping. -She just made it, boom, right in the center, my left, oh, you better make this. -Yeah! -Ow! -I thought should be-- -It almost had a chance. It just kind of, just kind of didn't go in. It so wonderful to get that under my belt and at least get some early respect to going. -Congratulations, yahoo, - Debbie Dahmer is our winner. -It's like you had that. -Almost. -You're coming back to the Discovery Cove. -Awesome. -Busch Garden, Sea World. -Swim with the dolphins. -I heard a little-- is that part when he walked away I heard a little [unk] -This is money time. -Just when he walked away. -There's money time -Yeah. -Great work. -We have our first winner. Well, listen, the surprises continue now, okay, were not finished yet, long way to go, ladies, I want to you go and enjoy the park today. -Cool. -Experience discovery cove, have a great time out there and see you later. -Can we swim with the Dolphins? -Go swim with the Dolphins? -All we can say that, yeah, park to yourself. That was-- It blew me away. Discovery cove is so cool. And I kept saying this. Oh, that's how I wanted to design my backyard. -I'm not really that excited about being in a bikini on TV. -With some horrendous thin lines. -Alright, let's go have fun. -I'm in the pond with stingray. -I got freaked though, when that went by me because I wasn't expecting it right away. And I just flipped. That was-- -Then those beautiful birds come down eating right at your hand. I see the dolphins before, but I never actually touched them. -The fact that this majestic animal was here up close and persona, you'll get to do that everyday. -I never kissed a dolphin. I mean that's so cool. -I couldn't believe how strong that dolphin was. -Definitely an experience that I was excited to have. -It's like heaven on earth. -After we left discovery cove, we got back in the lemo. There were so many surprises that day already and we didn't know where we're going and what we were doing. We got in the lemo. There's [unk] at the top. -Welcome to the NetJets Party [unk], waiting you see this, come on up. -The chills started at that point like this is so cool. -Boeing 737 and all of these girls like no way. -We all went get out. -Okay, this is cool. I just hope that there's not putting green out there, you know. -I took off in a couch. -The inside of this plane is in [unk]. -The said like [unk] are now in 20 minutes. -You kind of forgot your old plane and that's how good it was. -Cheers NetJets, thanks a lot. This is really tough. -That was so good, so cool. -It was beautiful, straight out of the movie. -I didn't wanna get off the plane. I didn't. I was like, oh girls I'm done. -We didn't know what to expect. It was getting to late friend golf related type event, which was a relief. -I had no idea what to expect. It was of living in the moment and absorbing as much as you could. -I thought, you know, what tomorrow starts the real thing, you know, game phase goes on. It's time to play. -I feel that bug right over my head. -Oh, it's moth. -We get to this out lodge there's cool floater that we're gonna just take off and do little harbor cruise on. And it was 7 o'clock in the morning. It was beautiful. -Fog coming up from the water. It's great atmosphere. -And the sun was coming up and the win was in our face and the on the water and it was the most peaceful feeling in the world. -It was great scenery, another time to-- for a little of bonding and the boat ride was really exciting. We saw bald eagle, which was quite a sight. -Oh, my, look at the wing span. That's a morning big bird Felicia. -You can start a day off like that everyday of the week. -You know, it's an experience I think you just can't take for granted and so to have fun with it. -We can see the golf course off in the distance and we got closer it was like that is a golf course. That's where we were going. -We could hear the [unk] playing and that was exciting. -We see the drummers dressed in their colonial type outfit, then we see the Big Break III and said this is [unk]. It just gets cooler and cooler. You know, when you see the rock it's like this is real. This is really happening. Okay, now, we can really play little golf. -We started dancing and having fun [unk] having a great time and we just start on marching right up to the rock. -Woo! Big Break! -Ladies, I will say this. You do know how to make an entrance and it is official now. You've traveled by land, sea, and air. -It's nice. -Welcome to Kingsmill near historic Williamsburg, and do we know how to pick a back drop or what? -Yes, really. -It is spectacular. -And we talked about this being a journey, step by step from here on we'll have a lot of fun. We're gonna get serious now too because we're talking about possible life changing event and in that light, I'd like to introduce you to my cohost, Stephanie Sparks. Stephanie had wonderful amateur carrier, played on the Mini Tours, played on the LPGA Tour and some majors. In short, she has been where you wanna be, Stephanie. Ladies, congratulations. -Thank you. -It's great to finally meet all of you. Vince has filled on all the interesting stories already. -Sorry. -Most of it. -Sorry, already, you're apologizing already. It's obviously gonna be an incredible week. We're gonna test not only your game inside and out. We're gonna test you mentally. How tough you are in the heat of competition and there's a reason for that because one of you is gonna win the ultimate prize, exemptions on the LPGA Tour. One of them being right here at the Michelob Ultra Open at Kingsmill. Now, this is it. You can't get any higher in women's golf than the LPGA. -That's right. -Yeah. -So, Stephanie says really that's the pinnacle and we're talking about really a springboard in your career. Sarah, someone like you, you know, you describe yourself as a little short hitting nobody out from Nebraska, -Yeah. -but you know, can you imagine stepping up to that level. -I imagine it everyday, everyday. -What would that mean to you? -My dream is coming true. -Obviously, a lot of emotion already. -Sure. -You can tell these ladies really wanting. -How about you Valerie, what do you think? -For me and for my kids, it's like a lesson, you know, you never give up, and if you have a dream, just keep going. -Sure. -How about you Pamela, what do you think about this whole thing? And is it sunken now that you're here at Kingsmill? -Yeah, the reality of it has sunken coming from different backgrounds and different stories, but we are working to the same thing and we all have the same goal. -I tell you what, we had a lot of fun so far, but the intensity level, I will tell you, will be ratcheting it up now that we are on these grounds. Guys, are you ready to step up? -Bring it on. -We got it. -Alright, let's do it. Let's move on to your first challenge. -Thanks. -We were also diplomatic in our choices especially at the beginning. -Diplomacy is slowly starting to melt away here. -Hi guys. -Hi ladies. -Hi. -How are you? -Okay. -Fantastic. -Are you ready for your challenge? -Very ready. -Think so. -Well, should be fairly obvious right now. Names and frames and it's probably the signature most identifiable challenge on Big Break. -As soon as I saw the glass, I knew exactly what it was. -And I see everyone's name on this glass including mine. I focused on what do I need to do to break glass, something is gonna take me out. Well, I can have that. -Claire will step into the box, call out the name of the person in the glass, then try to attempt to break that glass. If you break the glass, the person I out. -Anyone know where they stand tonight, no idea and it looks-- -No. -We have the queen Mary. -We're not ready to tell you just yet. -But we will tell you. The winner of this challenge determines the order of who picks their room, their bed on where they stand during the competition. If you're the last player to have your glass unbroken, you're the winner of the challenge. You get first dibs on room picks. Jan, who's your first victim. I just try to do it randomly. I try to pick them up right away. I could think I won a spot. The ladies birthday of the year go-- I'm gonna hit first and hopefully I did it fairly because I really like everyone-- alright sorry, Tash. -That's okay. -Jan gets up there who does it and who gets technique. -I thought we had it, she was like-- -I was like, man, I'm sleeping on the floor. -Here we go. -We were also diplomatic in our choices especially at the beginning. -She says the first birthday in January. -Someone which we decide -First letter of your last name. And I'm thinking, you know what I'm not sure I wanna be nice. I wanna have a good angle. -This is harder than it was. -It's so nerve wracking. I just didn't wanna hit my own name. -[unk] -That was the coolest thing I've ever done. -I didn't expect it to break. -When my glass got broken, it sucks. -I hit it-- I wanna do right in the middle of the glass and that was such a good feeling. -Winner number 2. -Tasha, sorry. -Wow, I was like proud of my self. I'm like, oh my God. I tried again, tried again. -I feel that ball go right over my head. -Oh it's smashed-- -I'm going to send it, Cindy. -Cindy. -Going to Cindy. -Cindy. -Under siege. -I believe they were zeroing on my glass. They definitely work. -I won't talk to you guys in if you make me sleep on the couch. -Diplomacy is slowly starting to melt away here. -The whole threat of we're picking our bed, we're picking our-- where everybody is like, uh-uh, we're not sleeping on the floor. -They did. -I'm going down. -Sorry man. -That was incredible to break the glass. It was a cool, cool feeling. -She's talented and I mean she has the capability to get me. -Real close. -That was-- -You know, it was like, oh, I don't wanna be out. -I think golf closely isn't doing that. You don't-- -This girl looks good. -You've done in my eye. -Sorry man. -So good. -It's a satisfying feeling when you nailed your target. -And there's nothing personal, it's business. -Thank you. -Thank you very much. -We got the frame down. -You got to reinforce frame. -You know, you got to have to go up. It's nothing do it. -Yeah. -Okay. -So, you've done it.
