-Previously. -It's mano-a-mano. It's either put up or set up.
-Look at this shot. -I'm not going down without a
fight for my team. -Are you kidding me? -God! -Great
job. -Yeah. -Are we ever gonna get a break here?
-It's in the-- -What a terrible shot. -I skimmed down
and, you know, not a
hit a golf shot and
I didn't. -Team Straffan, you're off to the elimination challenge
where Joe will have to decide who he will pick.
-Joe is definitely taking me in. -Joe is [unk] by.
-Julien has the most experienced playing on their team. -I
don't know what he was thinking. -Joe! -That is gone.
-Julien is safe and on to the next show. Disaster
for Joe. -It just sucks taking somebody out from your
own team, man. -A lot of good stuff happen out
there. Besides, one of my stellar shots, which cost it
for the team. -You feel like you should have been
the one in the elimination? -I'm not saying I would
have gone home. I'm not saying that. I just yeah--
I'm saying like I always-- I would have been able
to like fight for my position. -5 stacks, baby. -5
bags of sand in the hand. -I think they're gonna
be rattled. Nina feels guilty-- -She feels guilty-- -when Joe
went home. -but the reason why-- why I said Nina
is tripping 'coz her true game is coming out the
last couple of days. -Hi Steph. -Hi guys. -Oh son
of a-- -Oh Jesus Jerry. Look-- -You kidding me? -Here
we go. -That wasn't a welcome that I wanted. -Hi
Tom! -We thought we would give you the opportunity to
experience a little bit more of Irish Golf. We are
going to whisk you away-- -To the Portmarnock Hotel and
Golf Links. -I love-- -Yeah! -I love it. -I love
it. -Sweet. -And that's where you'll be competing tomorrow. -Nice.
-Let's enjoy the night. We'll handle Portmarnock when we get
there. -Yes sir! Cheers to that. Here we go. -K
Club is right there. You can see it and we're
going over here in Portmarnock. -We're going close to the
ocean right? -Right on the ocean. -Yes. -And we got
told this morning we got to pick a team captain,
which is-- means that we are staying together as a
team. -Yes. -Now, you-- Now, you can be nice to
us again. -Yes. I'm very excited. -Now, Mallory can be
nice to us again. -Whoever got picked captain, they're gonna
be up for elimination, but they also had a chance
of getting $5000. -It's time to select a captain. -She
is going in and she's pulling her ball. -Do it.
-And-- -Myself. -There's our captain. Nicole, high five. -Alright, high
five. Yeah. -Go team. -Do you wanna be captain? -Yes.
-Do it. -It's alright guys. -I think that's fair. We
both got 5 bags of sand. -Yeah. I-- I wanna
try to win myself a bag of sand. -Pulling up
to the golf club was incredible. It looks like British
Open all over. I mean, it's below 25, 30 already.
-The view was breathtaking. -See the flags blowing. See pot
bunkers and Mark was just looking his chops. -Pure golf.
-This is a place you should visit one time before
you kick the bucket or such. -The wind is blowing
us north of the capital city, Dublin, to the coastline
and to the Portmarnock Hotel and Golf Links where the
action for this show is going to be taking place.
-In this immunity challenge, the teams will play out from
9 different locations. And at each location, a player from
both teams will square off in a head-to-head match. The
player with the low score will win the match and
pick up a point for their team. If they tie,
they'll both earn half a point. -The first team to
5 points, they will be safe and on to their
next show. The losing team, well, there's trouble ahead for
them. They'll be heading to the elimination challenge where the
captain will have to choose one of their teammates to
face in a battle for survival. The teams are currently
discussing between themselves the strategy for the immunity challenge. -We
got Murph who grew up in this so that's gonna
be a big help to us. And he's gonna teach
us a little bit how to keep the ball under
the wind today. -This one here, it just seem you
like hit it 2 or 3 feet on it. She
should run right through hole or down to the hole.
-Which one are you comfort wise out today? -This is
probably easier I'd say. You kinda end to the wind.
-I like that one. -Hopefully try and keep Nina away
from the shot that would determine if we win or
lose. -Okay. Well, Nicole and Mallory have made their selections
for this first of 9 locations and it's Andy versus
Nina. You two have not been the best of friends
so far in the competition. -I know that Nina wants
to beat me pretty bad. -Andy is still a cocky
guy and, you know, same guy he's gonna be always.
-For a couple of days, we had a little beef
going. -I think Andy's gotten on her nerves a little
bit. She wanted to go up against Andy too. It
was a great match-up for the first round there. -This
one's a much shorter shot than the other two and
it's down the breeze. -I have hit bad shots last
few days and I shouldn't have and I wish I
wouldn't have, but here's my chance. Stop, sit, sit. -Sit
easy. -Alright. -Got in. -Got in. -Nina hit a fantastic
bunker shot to start off. -It is exactly what I
would have done coming out. -I chose to take that
shot because I felt good about getting myself to a
good start. -Nice shot. Go in. -Great shot. -Okay. -Great
touch. -Great shot. Do it buddy! -I had a great
bunker shot. -He's cocky and he knows that he's got
game. -With this wind, they are really gonna have to
concentrate on their putts. -I messed up in the last
show and don't wanna lose. So, I'm just trying to
think positively. -Good try. -Andy has a big opportunity now
to take the full point and put Team Liffey on
the board. -In these conditions, anything can happen. You can
3 putt from 6, 7 feet in a heartbeat. -Ooh!
-He missed it. -Oh good. Okay, we can use just
half this and get started. -Nina is gonna make her
putt. I'll make my putt and I start off with
a half. -Right in the back, Nins. Right in the
back. -I was like what are you doing? What are
you doing? -Put your head right. -Nina losing the immunity
challenge for her team the other day when Joe got
eliminated, I think that shaken her up a little bit.
-Andy now for 3 and the win. -Yeah, this is
her point. -Good job Andy! -Well done [unk] -There was
an inner satisfaction and I can tell the emotion in
Nina's face. -Clearly, I'm like the weakest link, you know,
like I was gonna sit up the show. She's the
next one that needs to go because she clearly doesn't
have the game. -My mind's going kinda all over the
place before the putt. I decided to ground my putter.
-Next, we see him step off the ball. -I'm not
sure if it's moving up. -I couldn't believe it. -Andy
and Team Liffey have a point on the board. Team
Straffan trail after the first bunker shot. -And again, as
we continue throughout the 9 locations, whichever team reaches 5
points first will win the challenge. We move to the
second location where the captains will go head to head.
It's Mallory versus Nicole. -First team to 5 points wins.
Our strategy was get up early. -I didn't wanna get
too cute with it. You know, obviously, you don't wanna
hit the lip. You think of all the crazy stuff
you've seen in British Opens. Go! It's gotta roll out.
-She like barely got out of the bunker, so I
kinda was like okay we need to hit it a
little harder. -That leaves some room open for Nicole. Team
Straffan is 1 point behind. -Alright captain. -Save my ass
again. Roll out. -Come on. -Go. -Come on. -Alright. I
was a little flustered, but at the same time I
was like what are you gonna do? -It's not gonna
be easy to make putts in these conditions. It's hard
to feel confident when, you know, you're taking it back
and the wind is making your putter move. -Don't get
too cute with this. Go get half. Going to move
on. -Breeze. Go! -And Mallory still had 2 to 3
feet left. -It was gusting so bad. I was a
little freaked out. Give it a good roll, but just
don't blow it past. -Move. -She didn't like it right
away. -Ends up further away than mine. You know, okay.
-You can't control it so why get mad? -She has
to make this at least to secure half a point
for her team. -Good putt. -Hey girl. -Mine went in
so after that I was like it's not that hard.
-Mine's a must make to have the match. I can't
let it distract me and then me do something stupid.
-Atta girl. -Thanks. -That means that it's half a point
for Straffan, one and a half points for Team Liffey
after 2 locations. -We move to our third and final
location from the bunkers and it will be Mark versus
Julien. -I chose about 30 yards to the green and
then pin it maybe on 15, so maybe a 45-yard
bunker shot. -This is the kind of weather I grew
up in Montreal where I come from. I love it.
-I was expecting him to get that up and down.
At this point, I'm just trying to get a putt
to make a 2. -This is a much more difficult
bunker shot than the first two. -Woah. -Great! -Good shot.
-Thanks. God that wind. -I'm thrilled Mark's on my team
today because he is by far the most experienced links
player of anybody left. -45-yard bunker shot is not an
easy bunker shot to hit, but I'm still confident. I'm
still looking forward to hitting it. -That's gonna get-- -Go
get up! -Doesn't even find the green leaves that short,
so advantaged Julien. -That's-- That's not good. -Pretty bad. -Mark
is not playing his best golf yet, but to me
Mark is still day 1 Mark. He's still Captain Mark
that messed up for us. -Right! -Great shot! -Right! -Good
job. -You know what Murph? You've gotta take this on
the chin, man, and roll your ball in. -Gently! Slow
down! -Definitely an opening. I've got a nice-looking putt, so
I'm thinking we're gonna tie this baby up. My mind
is going kinda all over the place before the putt.
I decided to ground my putter. Next thing we see
him step off the ball. -I'm not sure if it's
moving up. -Hit his club. -I couldn't believe. -Absolutely incredible.
-Here. -Julien can make this, the immunity challenge will be
tied at one and a half points each. -I decided
to ground my putter. -Next thing we see him step
off the ball. -I'm not sure if it's moving up.
I think it moved a little forward. -Hit his club.
-If you're sure it came to rest in another spot.
-Mine moved just a little bit so-- -He called the
rules official in and he said I hit the ball
and the rules official said it's a 1-stroke penalty. -Oh
my god! The golf gods out to get me. -All
I know is my putter hit the golf ball so
that's the stroke in my book. All of a sudden
your focus kinda gets thrown off and you're more worried
about the ball moving than you're about making the putt.
-This putt is to secure half a point for his
team. -Definitely had to refocus. You know, what happened before
was just kinda dumb on my part and that's the
bottom line. -Putt! -After having a 1-shot penalty, he drains
it. -A good 3 and well 4 from Julien. -I
know I have to make this putt. Even though he--
he's done what he's done, I have to leave all
of that behind me. I have move on with my
game. If I misstep, we're back tied again. -Putt Mark.
-Yes. -There you go. -Go Mark. -Sorry Jules, not as
bad looking, Jules. -Yeah. -I was just-- That's bad look
brother. -What a waste of a good bunker shot and
a good putt. -It's my own fault. That's not a
tough break, you know. -Good putt. Good. -This sucks for
Nicole that I did that. This gotta come out low
[unk] we'll be alright. -The score after 3 locations is
2 to 1 in favor of Team Liffey. We now
move back to our 4th location. We're gonna see 3
shots from the rough in the next stage of this
immunity challenge. -Again, the first team to 5 points wins
the immunity challenge. So, Team Liffey, if they're able to
win all 3 of these next matches, they'll be safe
and on to the next show. -There's definitely some frustration.
-That point, you know, we're 1 down and that's because
of me again. -First up will be Mark for Team
Liffey and he's gonna be taking on Nicole from this
first location. -This is a difficult shot, man. -50 miles
an hour wind coming across the shore. There's 2 of
pretty fun pin over a bunker. Try and use a
little bit of experience. Get your ball on the green.
Put a little bit of pressure back on her. -Get
down! Right! Right! Sit! -Yeah. -Good job Mark. -It's unbelievable
[unk] move. -It was good. -Always good like they do.
-Even being 1 down, if we get half a few,
a win was coming somewhere. I'm really good with little
touchy shots. You could hit your mark and it can
either respond as you would think it's supposed to or
it won't, but I can't control what the ground does.
-Beautiful shot. -Sit! Come on. -Beautiful shot. Great job. -There's
no give up in any of us 3. So, I
knew Nicole was gonna go in there trying to make
that shot. -At least you see an end up close
if it misses. I'm not gonna like hammer it past.
-Mark is gonna be putting down the slope. And you
know, if he hulls this, Team Liffey will have a
2-point lead and they'll only be 2 points away from
the win. -One thing you're gonna do is raise it
5, 6 feet by and miss that one and now
here we go again. Worst case scenario here. Give yourself
a look, but don't make 4 from here. -And I
tell you what, he did not leave himself a very
easy putt for 3. -Murph, you donkey. You know, he
did it again. Now, he's got another 4-putter. The first
2 was not enough. He had to go again. -Go
Mark. -Putt Mark. -Putt Mark. -Nicole will finish her putt
off. -To have the match. -Good putt. -Good. -It's two
and a half, one and a half. As long as
we're getting some kind of points, we're staying ahead. -I
get along with Andy in doses I guess I would
say. -Everybody was kind of talking about how hard it
was and run it up and you can't stop it.
They may not be able to, but I know I
can stop a ball there. -As we continue throughout the
9 locations, whichever team reaches 5 points first will win
the challenge. -Am I nervous? Yes. Do I hope that
something pulls through? Yeah, but after Nina, we, you know,
have everything so hopefully something great will happen. -Nina and
I go to the next location. It's kinda behind a
knoll from the rough and it's a blind shot. You
can't see the pin. You kinda gonna have to go
between 2 putt bunkers. -Nina has been struggling over the
last couple of shows. She had a few loose shots.
This will be a good time for her to redeem
herself. -This is my chance like do something for your
team or else, you know, that's 2 on you again.
If you carry it all the way there, you have
no chance at stopping it. Sit! And it lands right
next to the hole and it ends up off the
green. -I don't think she's ever played anything like this.
-Did all you can do. -Okay. She's opened the door
for me again. She did it last show by hitting
it in the water. I'll just have to take advantage
of it again. Run! -Mallory tried to play a little
link shot and run it in there, which is the
shot to play, but just didn't give it enough. And
Nina has run down into a swell at the back
of this green. She actually has the more difficult shot.
-I'm thinking if I putt it, it might not get
there 'coz I'd have to hit it pretty hard. I
don't mind hitting my 60. I can get it to
the checkup pretty quickly. -Alright, keep that wedge in your
hand and you are not gonna get up and down.
-She needs to hit this close and keep Team Straffan
in this challenge. -That's not what I wanted. Just disaster.
That's it in my hands pretty much. The first one
I left short. I didn't wanna leave it short again.
Sit! -She just completely just said here you go, take
the match, and I'm just kind of going-- Well, let
me just make it hard on myself. -I need to
pull this together. I can still make this. -This putt
to secure her team at least a half a point.
-Sit down! How the fuck-- -She got blown right off
it when she putted. You see that? -The wind moved
her. -It blew-- It blew her right over. -Her confidence
probably isn't too high on this putt so I'm thinking,
you know, if I 2 putt, I'm gonna win this.
-And she lost it low so she'll finish that up,
so Mallory in for Team Liffey with 4 from this
location. -Everybody else in this show right now is doing
their job besides me. So clearly, I'm like the weakest
link. -If she makes it, they have the match. Half
a point goes to each team. If she misses, she
loses another point for her team. -I don't need to
really prove myself anything. It was more to prove to
my team that I could play golf; otherwise, I wouldn't
be here. -This seriously is fucking irritating. -What is going
on? Yeah, so we now are 2 points down due
to Nina. -Well, that's disaster. -Good shot in there. -It
wasn't though. Too much putt. Why should she just [unk]?
-She's basically giving points to the other team at this
point. -And now, Team Liffey only one and a half
points away from victory. -She's very frustrated. She keeps going
uh! -All I can do is try to go out
and beat Andy in the third part. -Andy, the final
player for Team Liffey to go from the rough locations.
This is a 114 yards, gotta go over the bush
to win big time off the [unk]. -Everyone was kinda
talking about how hard it was and run it up
and you can't stop it. -Andy is very cocky. -They
may not be able to, but I know I can
stop the ball there. -I get along with Andy in
doses I guess I would say. One thing Mark did
was don't fight the wind today. So, my target was
about 20, 25 yards left of the green. -Great shot!
-Thanks. -That took some creativity. I'll give him credit. It
was a good shot. -From there, 3 was gonna be
a good score because 3 hasn't lost a hole yet.
-Julien has the pressure on his shoulders right now. He's
seeing down three and a half to one and a
half. They need to make a move right now. -I
knew I had to deliver a good shot at least
something on the green. Give myself a chance for 2.
-Come on Jules. -And this one needs to get up,
has to get up. -I've come extremely close to quitting
golf several times. Just the perseverance that it takes to
keep going, it's just so hard. I'm just excited that
my passion for the game is kinda already coming back
like I'm excited to practice and I'm excited to get
back into it and, you know, that's a long way
from where I was even a month or two ago.
It's kind of a life changer in a way. -Andy
in prime position. Julien has to respond with something special.
-His team down three and a half to one and
a half. They need to make a move right now.
-I knew I had to deliver a good shot at
least something on the green, give myself a chance for
a 2. -This one needs to get up, has to
get up. -Oh. -That was shocking 'coz Julien has been
hitting it good. -Julien has to win this hole just
'coz we're down by so many. -My ball is like
a foot in the bunker. I got this downhill lie,
so I'm in there. I'm like this in the bunker.
I got my face wide open. Sit. -Great shot! -Nice
Jules. -Thanks. -Definitely put some pressure on Andy at least
to hit a good first putt. I was trying to
cozy it up in there. Tap in for 3 and
make-- make another big putt. -Sit up! -Drop, Drop. -Oh!
Nice job! -Great shot! -Great putt Andy! -So Andy with
the win. That's a point. Team Liffey is just half
a point away from winning the immunity challenge. -Making that
putt. That was dagger. That's why I play golf. -Alright.
-We need to beat them on the next 3 holes
outright. We can't have it. We have to win. -The
3 fairway shots for the last part of the immunity
challenge were from the center of the fairway from 35
yards, 75 yards, and a 115 yards. -This is the
first match-up from the fairway locations and it is the
team captains that are gonna be squaring off. -I just
kinda wanted to earn the $5,000 for myself and end
it with me. -At that point, my mind was already
in the change of being like we're going to elimination
because Nina was after me and we already saw how
[unk] to win. I mean, she was gonna screw me
over either way. -Sit, sit, sit. -Sit! -Sit. -Alright. -All
I have to do is take her out. What the
best option is to get it as close to the
hole as possible. -If Nicole makes 2, great. She deserves
it. -You know, I'm thinking make it 3 and we're
done. Sit. Sit! Sit. -That's not exactly what you wanted
to do. -If Nicole can squeak this out, I think
you got yourself a rematch. -Uh, Oh god, I know.
Like that. -Like that-- -I want it bad. Growing up
with my dad as a caddy, you know, I read
greens well. Putting is my game. -Mallory for the win.
-Slow down. -[unk]. -She still has some work left. -Again?
Like what are you 'doin? I guess I just really
wanted to test my putting in this thing. -I knew
Nicole is gonna go in there trying to get up
and down in 2 'coz 2 is a pretty good
score today. -I figured if I made 1 it was
good to kinda shove it down through a little bit.
-And Mallory gives a big sigh of relief. -Hey, Nicole
in with 3. All Mallory needs to do is hold
this putt and her team wins the immunity challenge and
they'll be safe and on to the next show. -This
putt that I have is worth $5,000. It's worth not
going to elimination again and I'm just thinking-- I mean,
I'll just be confident, knock it in. -One down. -Good
girl. -Good putt. -Get it done. -That means that Team
Straffan, they will be heading to the elimination challenge and
1 of the 3 will be going home. -Don't be
the hero just be aggressive and smart. -Oh geez. Down.
-[unk]. -What? -In this elimination challenge, 2 players from Team
Straffan will be undergoing a serious test of links golf.
And at the end, one of them will be going
home. -Well, in this final challenge, the players will have
to battle this brutal wind on the 8th and 18th
holes here on the Portmarnock Hotel and Golf Links. Now,
in the end, the player with the high score will
be eliminated from Big Break Ireland. -I have more control
over the situation now than I did earlier. -This time
I'm a 100% sure Nicole is picking me. And if
I do get kicked off, I deserve it. -Nina should
go home before I did and I, you know, was
totally fine with being the one who sent her there.
I'm gonna play against Nina. -It's my turn. I haven't,
you know, played up to my potential. -I pick Nina
because she didn't perform today. -I've hit some bad shots,
you know, under pressure. I need to step up. -So,
it is the best choice, you know, kinda easy into
being in an elimination. -I wanted to play against Nicole,
so here's my chance. It's a huge challenge for me
personally because starting golf at 17 and playing against all
these girls that were bred into playing golf, I've always
been super determined to beat those girls. -Good shot. -Thanks.
-Being a link-style course and with the wind blowing so
hard, it was just safe to just kind of hit
a shot down there. I just went into it with
a very safe mindset. Just no mistakes. -Good ball. -Come
on. -I was rooting for Nina because Nicole's gonna play
on the LPGA Tour some day and for Nina to
get on tour, she's gonna need a little experience. -I
have no doubt-- I didn't wanna question myself. Straight down
the wind. Aim right at the pin and you just
hope the right club is in your hand because the
wind is pushing so hard. -It's an absolute cracker of
a golf. -[unk] Keep going, keep going. -Wow! -Great shot
Nina! -Wow! What a shot. -That's as good as it
gets there. -In those kind of conditions, you know, under
elimination pressure, I stepped up and I hit a great
shot. -I was not paying attention to her at all.
Competitors, they don't really look at them and judge them
or have time for them. -Nicole has a 118 yards
to go and this is straight down the breeze. -Don't
be the hero. Just be aggressive and smart. -Oh Jesus.
-Down. -Get a bite. -That's gotta bite and-- -Sit! -Uh-oh.
-She is not gonna like that. -Serious trouble. -The champion
of Big Break Ireland will earn $50,000 in cash. They
will also tee it up against the best players in
the world. If a woman wins, she will compete in
the 2012 Kia Classic and return to the Emerald Isle
for the 2012 Ladies Irish Open. If a man wins,
he will travel to Morocco for the 2012 Hassan II
Golf Trophee then come back to Ireland for 2012 Irish
Open. In addition, the champion will receive a 10,000-dollar shopping
spree courtesy of Dick Sporting Goods, a vacation for 2
to the amazing West of Ireland courtesy of Tourism Ireland,
which includes 3 nights at Ashford Castle, 3 nights at
Doonbeg Golf Resort, 5 rounds of spectacular golf, and a
courtesy car from Dunleer Car Rattles, $10,000 worth of travel
to anywhere in the world thanks to United Airlines. Finally,
the winner will be offered an endorsement contract with Adams
Golf, which includes $10,000. -Golf is very serious for me
and I'm very competitive. Go out there and be as
cocky as you need to be because it doesn't matter
how other people think or, you know, feel about you.
It's whatever makes you perform to your best. -I do
think I can win. I have the talent. I can
execute any shot that I want. I-- I just say
this is what we need, Nicole. Do it. -In this
elimination challenge, Nina and Nicole are playing the first of
a 2-hole match. Nina has only 8 feet left for
birdie, but Nicole has just hit her second shot over
the green. -My one first like real bad shot and
I was like--, you know. It kinda stung. Wow, advantage
me. -Nicole is a long way through this 8th green
and this is the one place that you cannot go
on this hole. -Oh! It was disgusting looking. -Nicole needs
a little bit of [unk] -That's a-- That's a cabbage
lie right there. -Just getting it out of it was
gonna a success. Be smart. The last thing you wanna
do is hit like a hero shot and screw yourself
even harder. -Oh. Go! Go! -The advantage really goes to
Nina right now. -That could have been me. Everybody is
thinking that should be me hitting bad shots. -[unk] are
off now ladies and gentlemen. -I was a little flustered,
but at the same time I was like try and
make your putt. -Go! Go! -Nicole coming up shy so
she's gonna have that left for her bogey. Nina has
the chance here to go at least 2 shots ahead.
-Nina clubs the door right here right now. -If she
continues to putt today how she's been putting, we possibly
could tie. -She moves that in, Nicole's putt gets way
longer. -Ooh. -I need to make sure I'm confident. You
know, it's 1 putt. 1 putt is gonna change this
game. -Great putt! -Wow! -Wow! -What a putt from-- -Great
birdie. -Nina. -Yeah, what a 3. -What? -Wow! Did she
just do that? -What changed? What all of a sudden
made you miss a 3-footer to like the old to
make like an 8 footer. -If Nina hit bad golf
shots, that doesn't mean she's not confident and poised. -She
was due. I was due. She owed it to me.
-Good job Nicole! -Great putt! -Good putt! -Good putt Nicole!
-So I'm 2 strokes up going into this last hole.
It's a good feeling. -[unk] a putt all of a
sudden. -And we will head to the 18th, the closing
hole of Portmarnock Hotel and Golf Links where one of
these 2 players will be eliminated. -I'm playing almost the
best player on LPGA, LPGA Tour and I can go
in there and compete against here and actually give her
a run for her money. -Nicole has to hope that
Nina makes a big mistake and she could because there
are some pretty deadly bunkers on this 18th hole. -Playing
directly into the wind. -Run. Run. Hitting in the middle,
that just kind of like turned the knife a little.
Yeah. -I'm gonna come back for a minute. I'm gonna
get a birdie. It's not over. -She could get a
kick here. -Big drive. It needs to just run a
little further. It's okay. No problems. -We're not avoiding each
other, but you feel the tension. It's all business. We're
here to compete against each other. -She looked a lot
more calm and confident. -During the immunity challenge, I think
that's what really kinda gave me a taste of what
needed to be done to play well on the link
course. -The wind big time off the left and there
is trouble down the right. If she loses this ball
right, she could find some heavy rough. -Nicole needed Nina
to hit a bad golf shot. -Right at it. -Money.
-Right at it. -Look at this. -Great shot. -Over. -Great--
-Ball game. -That's there. -Wow. -Very good shot. -She hits
it right up there to 10 feet like it's no
big deal. -I know she's pretty pissed and I'm sure
she's thinking, you know, where has this player been the
last couple of days. -You have to expect that Nina
is gonna 2 putt. -All out? -She's gonna be thinking
it man. -Yup. -You know her. She won't be backing
down any minute. -If you can get a really good
shot out, you know, maybe we can make something happen.
-Good shot. -Good shot. -Good shot Nic. -Back to back
shocker elimination challenge episodes. -She has more experience than I
do. She's been in tougher conditions than I have. -If
I jarred it, it would rattle back how horrible her
putting was earlier and we could go into a play-off.
-She probably just wanted to can it just for a
3. -I don't wanna feel like I didn't give it
a chance. I said you better make this touch the
hole. -Hit it! -Yes. -Ooh! -The edge. -The hole is
it? -She was thinking-- -It was almost a slam dunk.
-It was a great putt and, you know, what can
you do? -So, this for the win. -I wanna drain
this. No, I don't wanna give it away and, you
know, make her think she had a chance. I'll just
kinda send her a silent message. -Hang in there. -Surprised
to see Nicole go. -Best feeling ever. I mean take
somebody so strong out of the competition. -So, Nina Rodriguez
is safe and on to the next show. Nicole Smith
is eliminated in Big Break Ireland. -The putter turned on.
-Wrong timing. -It was more of a bitter-- like a
little stab like-- You know, you decide to show up
now. -I'm pissed off that she 3 jacked 2 putts.
-She sabotaged [unk] can kick my ass. -How do you
jack up 2 putts that bad and then come out
and do what you just did? -I've been a fighter
my whole life so it's like call me out and
I'm gonna show who's boss. -Do I think she got
lucky? Yeah. I mean, she got really lucky. -Hopefully, this
doesn't leave any bitter taste in your mouth, but if
I know her-- if she's anything like me, which she
is, it'll take a while. -You alright? -[unk] -I came
on to be able to be in a moment in
a shot and have it all count on that. And
you know, sadly it didn't work in 1 and it
was the shot that, you know, sent me home. I
still got to feel what it was like to have
everything ride on 1 shot. You don't get those moments
that much. Everything is always learning experience. -Today is gonna
be about survival. -Gust up to 70 miles an hour.
-There is no light up. It was just constant wind.
-You can't make any mistakes. -I had just gotten the
luckiest break on the Big Break. -Hit it. -Are you
kidding me? -This is my house. This is where I
live [unk] I'm not the one going, right buddy? -Never
been put through the mental and emotional grind that I
have been on this Big Break. -Andy is just-- -I
think he's actually scared. -Bok. Chicken. Bok-bok.
