-Hi. I'm Matt Melrose, 27 years old. I live in Phoenix, Arizona, originally from Malawi in Southern Africa. I think I was selected because for one I'm not bad on the eye balls. For two, I think my golf game is pretty good, and you know, I'm an interesting character. I'm pretty well [unk]. I've got plenty of power. I know that I've got plenty of game. I know that I can play this game at the highest level. I'm born and bred in Africa. You know, I'm- I love that continent. I love everything about it. I was initially born in Zimbabwe, and through a lot of the drama that happened there. I'm [unk] family with [unk] of that's going on there. Eventually, we've essentially lost our Zimbabwean passport, so the country I was born in [unk] basically refused me as a citizen of the country. As far as, you know, me calling myself Zimbabwean, I'd rather goggle with the gospel of [unk], you know what I mean. I have a bit of sense of belongings kind of issue if you wanna call them that. It's hard for me to feel like I belong. I don't have a green card here. I'm living here on a tourist visa at the moment. I mean, this is what it is, and I just keep going forward. Life in the states is much faster than life in Africa. This is what I do after a hard day of practicing and golfing, come out here with my mates, and we have a great time out on the lake. -Matt just [unk] things talk about with girls, so you know, nice pilot, he's a professional golfer. He [unk] for them and he's got accent, so he's pretty much got all in lock down. -The thing I wanna get out of this is I wanna get, you know, another great life experience. I'm sure there's gonna be some fantastic people. I'm sure we're gonna see some things in Ireland. I'll be able to get few more people to know who I am, and where I'm from, and what I've got, and what I can bring. It's a tough game, but you know, I like the challenge of that. Basically, the way I look at this is I have to work harder than everyone else. There are millions of golfers who wanna professional. To go to that next level and go all the way to the top, you've just got to practice harder than everyone else. You have to be better than everyone else. For the meantime, I've got my blinkers on, and I'm working really hard towards my dream.
