-Previously on the Big Break VII. -The reunion. -Have found
myself one day uncomfortable position. I hate further up, lean
like that. -Well a good turn of the day. -I
think that might have taken a little bit of air
out of Bri. -It's time now for to make who
hasn't had that chance to win.
-This morning I mean
I was kind of feeling bad because I didn't have
here my partner right next to me. -Can I propose
a toast to Bri? What a good person and what
a pleasure it has been to have met her. -I
thought it was a great gesture of Tommy to bring
up Bri and the fact that she wasn't-- was just
very sure of that breakfast. -Good chemistry with her. -Yes.
-God bless. -To Bri. -Get there. -The fact that he
got so emotional and so upset about it, I was
really forward and you know it was cute and sweet
and almost sad and pathetic all at the same time.
-When you spend 10 to 14 hours a day with
somebody for 8 or 9 days straight, you grow on
that person and that person grows on you. It really
drained us to start off our day. We didn't really
expect to go through what we did that early. -I
never said anything about your talent. -And you called me
a brat to some of the people and I just
would like to know why. -Well we heard that you
were unhappy living in the house with 3 promiscuous girls.
-No. I sort of feel like the prude with 3
single women. -That's not the word you used to talk
about us. -Pam has withdrawn from Big Break VII due
to personal reasons so she will no longer be competing
in the series. -Or I think it was really merely
draining for all of us. -That's one thing she was
mad about. She said it was permanent she went home
because she's the one who brought it up. -I tried
to tell her that's not true. You gotta stand up,
stand up for yourself. You have to have a backbone.
That's what makes you a great player and what happened
yesterday if it didn't happen it could've easily changed the
outcome of who went home and that's I think the
saddest part about it because Bri might not have gone
home yesterday. I was missing her this morning without question.
-I went from somebody gorgeous to mile for the south.
-Come on here, Don. Let me see what you got
son. -I don't have the thumb around where he does
of the 10 fingers alright. -Wait. You're playing today with
a new grip? -Oh yes. -Are you insane? -I even
got this ready. -No, you don't. -Yes, he said to
me. -Imitation, sincerest form of flattery. These guys own the
best balls because I've haven't been around. Look at that.
Come on, let's go. Get them on there. -Are you
insane? -It's been smoking mirrors. It's time for me to
change it up. -You're going over the deep end. It's
official. You've fallen in the pool. -I'm scared to death
about this. -Nothing like absolute for the girl so we
already have that brand. -I'm not worried about losing to
Ashley or Laura. If they beat me then they play
better and I deserved it. That's the way I look
at it. -Good morning everybody and I think it's gonna
be a brilliant day here again at Ginn Reunion Resort.
We're on the number 10 tee box on the Watson
Independence course. Now just as an ice breaker this morning
we thought let's see what can we do to make
this a little bit different. So we decided to break
you up into 3 teams of 3. -That would be
9. -That's right. Well in order to do that we're
gonna have to add some players, alright, and we had
some players in mind. -Is this a joke? -I think
you know them. No, it's no joke, Ash. Oh they're
right over here and they may be back in play.
-Oh no. -Gomes and I are like, are you serious?
Is this really happening? We thought Vince had messed up
his line. -Immediately I kind of started to get defensive.
-Is this a playback? What's happening there? We're gonna have
to try to beat this team. -Oh my God. -Great,
like I worked so hard to stay here and to
be like in the top 6 and now someone's gonna
play their way back on to the show and I'm
gonna be kicked off the show because of this you
know. I immediately started to have a little freaking out
moment. -Big Break merchandise plus the complete series on DVD
now available at GolfChannel.com. -I think you know these characters,
right? -Hey guys. -Morning guys. -Hi. -Good morning. -Good to
see everybody again. -What's up? -Good morning to you. -Now
we're going to get to how this will all work
as far as teams are concerned in just a minute
but right now Stephanie is gonna talk about the challenge.
-Speed golf, guys. You're gonna have a player on the
tee, in the fairway, and on the green. The team
with the lowest score and time will win the challenge.
Congratulations. You'll be safe and on to the next show.
No, it's not a playback. Unfortunately for them but we
gonna give you incentive as well. The winning team will
also be awarded 3 thousand dollars courtesy of Plastpro Doors.
We're gonna have a random draw to determine the teams.
Mike and Dave, Tommy and Laura, Ashley and Double D
back together again. -Oh. Probably one of the best picks
I could've got. -We can't get away from each other.
I'm convinced. We cannot get away from each other. -Now
don't forget also on the line are those Chrysler immunity
points. The winner in the end will win a 2007
Chrysler Aspen. -Time to make some picks. Laura and Tommy,
you are our first on the board. -I would've bet
50 thousand dollars Tommy picks Bri. -Alright. Well, it was
very difficult and Tommy and I came to the conclusion
that we needed to add a little spice to our
team so Valeria, would you please join us. -Oh, Valeria.
-Laura told me flat out she said Tommy I know
you wanna pick Bri but you know we need to
talk about some other players. -I love Brianna and I
love her game but for what we were looking to
accomplish I felt that there was a better player, fast
player and it's one of those things where we wanted
somebody who's quick on their feet. -My God I couldn't
believe it, so we're all set with our 2nd pair.
-David, Mike. -I think we will go with Bri. -Bri
Vega. -Bri's back in competition. -Alright. Ashley, Don? -Go ahead
partner. -We're gonna go with our girl, Kim. -Yes. -Okay.
-Kim. -Very nice. -She was our number 1 pick so
we were excited that no one picked her. -Alright. Well
we have our teams and so now it's time to
play the challenge and it looks like the Tommy and
Laura and Val team will lead us off. -Speed golf,
that's the first time I've heard of speed golf, though
I'm not too familiar with that type of golf. -In
the Big Break III we have speed golf and we
did it like for 3 times so it was pretty--
but I was in the middle hitting the middle shots
so it was different. -As soon as I heard speed
golf was oh my God. I get to probably run
on national television which will probably be the 2nd most
embarrassing time of my life and the first one I'm
not gonna even mention. So it's that bad. -I just
wanna hit the tee shot down there close to the
green, better get down there, wedge it up there close
and hopefully we could have a good time at the
end of it. -It's flying over my head. I'm waiting
for the ball to hit the ground so that I
can start running. -Go. -Gone running with a handful of
clubs down the fairway, booking it and I'm not a
small fast girl like Kim. -Oh jeez. I really should
here on the-- -So you know her wheels aren't that
bad. I mean she's getting it pretty good right now.
-Wanna get there and do your practice swing. Like what
is that about? I never take a practice swing. -Best
thing you get the ball man I'm like okay. Just
make 2-putt, so I putt. My first then I started
walking to the next one and I just grabbed the
pin. -Ashley quicker now by a good time. -Yes. -Yes.
-Oh. -Yes, baby. -Wow. That was quick. -That was quick.
That was really quick. -So par for our first team
up. -53 seconds. -That's not bad. So 5.3 plus 9
so we're at 9.3? That's not that bad. -No. -Right?
-Yes. -Gonna be a solid time. -Could be tough to
beat. -There was no doubt I was driving. There was
no doubt Dave was putting. We are not gonna be
the fastest to run so we want the shortest distances.
-You know at 6, I was never picked for anything
that they wanted me. -I'm like you know Kim not
picked in dodge ball or something. Like nobody want me
as a partner. -To be wanted this time basically a
little bit better and people had confidence in my game.
-53 seconds. That was a great time. I've gotta make
the putt. Otherwise, we're not gonna beat that time. They
were flawless it looked like. -And then gets in about
11 full seconds to hit the ball. By the time
I got up there and hit it. Tommy got in
about 8 to 9 so I knew that we're playing
a few seconds behind where they would be. -And Mike
falls off, in our pack on the back so she--
I mean he could see it his with him behind
us. -It's gonna take a lot of that. -It feels
like when it's happening like oh we're gonna beat these
guys by 5 or 10 seconds. -Sit. -They knew I
was gonna land out my line and try to make
the putt. -What the hell? -Dave's lining it up. -Oh
goodness. -I thought oh we gotta make birdie. -Oh. Are
you serious? That long? -Yes. -I'm gonna actually be able
to hang out today. I might get an immunity. -If
we all chopped off 2 seconds but ifs and buts,
candies and nuts. -So that first score with Laura, Tommy,
and Val still standing 9.3 is the one to shoot
for and we have 1 more team to go. -It's
right at you, Kim. He's coming at your head. Look
out. -Whether Don's is going down. -It didn't feel 7
seconds behind anybody so we were so shocked. We were
so dejected when we heard it took a 60. -And
we know we're done. -I'm rooting for my partner. -Don
and Ashley at elimination at the end, two of the
strong players. I'm hoping they get the immunity. -When I
saw Ashley be the one chosen to hit the drive
for their team, it started to click to me that
maybe that there was more of a strategy. -I'm gonna
have that be looking so I'll-- -Okay and I'll-- -Take
off. -I'll give you a signal. -Yes, yes. Okay. -Alright.
I'm going. -Yes. -That'd be great. -And please be like
this. -Yes. That'll be good. -And with her drive we
felt like she was gonna be right there at about
the 120 to 110 in and that was gonna give
me the less amount of room to have to run.
-I was more afraid that I was going to jerk
and tumble down the hill instead of obviously run. That
was my biggest concern was not only do I have
to run on TV right now but what if while
I'm doing I'm such a klutz I trip over my
own shoes, fall on my face, and roll down to
the [unk] -I got up there and my hands were
shaking so badly and they kept continuously. All I can
think was what if it takes me 40 seconds to
tee this butt of how he's putting I think since
I've been here. I've been trying to get that tee
in the ground. -I hit it and it was gonna
break. It's right at you Kim. He's coming at your
head. Look out. -Go. Go, Kim. Be a good girl.
-There ain't no way we lose this. No way we'll
lose this to the match. -Left. -I've never done anything
like this speed and I'm trying. I'm nervous and I'm
trying to do fast and I'm not breathing. -What do
we get? -Oh no, Don's going down. -You okay, partner?
-Yes. My heart hurts. -I was so excited and you
know I had to take off because in my team.
-Alright. We beat them. I know we beat them. -Right
now it's just so tensed. -Come on Double D. Come
on. Come on. -Total adrenaline rush. -It's gonna be close.
If we get this in today, we are partying. Partying.
-53 seconds goes pretty quick. I swear to God I
thought it took a minute and a half for that
hole to be played. -Now Stephanie and I were just
admiring the great shots under pressure by everyone. You guys
really stepped up and made this a fun challenge, but
as it turns out Tommy, Laura, and Val, you guys
set the pace early on with a score that calculated
to 9.3. Bri, Dave, and Mike, you're turn came and
your score calculated to 10 even. And finally Ashley, Kim,
and Don, after calculating your score, it came out to
9.2. -Holy cow. -So courtesy of Plastpro Doors, you pick
up the 3 thousand dollars to be split evenly. Congratulations.
Well done. -Thank you. -Coming up, we have one more
chance for immunity and then it's off to elimination challenge,
so gear up. Congratulations. -Every little immunity point is huge,
every day that you survive is you're blessed to hang
on because any day you could hit a bad shot
and be gone. -Golf, it's usually about feet and inches
and some people getting in the game you know and
they're an inch away or an inch closer and that
challenge is about split second. -They beat us by 1
second. I was fuming. -They weren't expecting Ashley Gomes, Don
Donattelo, and Kim Lewellen to come from behind and take
the immunity out of their hands. -He's used to being
safe with the immunity. -He doesn't like the fact that
Don runs his mouth more and I think his biggest
concern was he was gonna have to listen to Don
for the next 8 hours being together running his mouth
about how we'd won the immunity. -We beat you all,
we beat you all. If you-- -Why would I do
that? -Tommy, I don't know. I'm just saying-- -It doesn't
matter at all I mean you do-- -I can accept
losing but I can't accept losing to somebody that brags
about it after he beat you and he keeps bragging
about it and he keeps bragging about it. -And you
know if they keep saying it all day-- -No, no.
-On me. -You? -He was feeling a lot of pressure.
He's pretty upset and I think a little bit has
to do with Bri being eliminated. -I mean you did
not leave it to me. -No. I ain't like that.
-Aren't we all fixing it all? -Oh, I'm fixing it.
Let me give you real hug. -I could change that.
-250. -I gotta go. -If I do it, it won't
be bad but I'm not. I'll see you after the
show. -This Big Break challenge has been presented by Plastpro
Fiberglass Doors. -He's got a Mulligan and you know Mulligans
real big and in this show absolutely huge a lot
of them people are gonna be leaving us and I
haven't been through elimination challenge. -I'm very upset, pissed, angry,
frustrated. You know you name them all because that's how
I feel right now. -I think he's having a hard
time in general the fact that Bri is gone and
you know they had such close friendship and partnership. He
won't be able to see his true spirit when you
go to this next challenge. -We'll see her 4 more
days. That's the plan. -Maybe my luck's been going on
the show. It's just always seems that it's like 1
card shot, 1 second short, so you know it's not
a big shocker. It just hurt because I really, we've
done so well. It was just like can't something just
kind of roll right away? Can I just enjoy the
day off? -One little second. I mean that's not very
much time. I mean that's pretty hard to get over.
-That's the way it's supposed to be for you, Laura
London, on Big Break VII and not good every new
challenge to win this thing. Then you're gonna have to
get sick of me, America, because you're gonna see a
lot of me. -Welcome to our next immunity challenge and
just as we had a throwback in our last immunity
challenge with the speed golf from Big Break III, we're
gonna back in the past and the dice are back.
-The objective here as you guys know is to hit
it through the hole in a dice you see behind
you. Okay. We're gonna give you a total of 8
shots. We'll start with 6. Once you hit it through
the 6, you proceed to the 5 and so on
all the way down to the 1. At the end
of those 8 shots we'll tally how many die you've
hit it through. Player with the highest score will be
safe and on to the next show. -So once again
one person gains immunity from this particular challenge and that's
1 more point overall in the Chrysler immunity challenge and
moving closer to the Chrysler Aspen 2007. -Definitely brought back
memories and I said thank God I'm not in this
challenge because I hate the dice. -Like the 1-3-1 cube.
So I suck. -I decided I have good memories from
the dice wall. -Oh. -That was amazing. If Mike went
6-5-4, he went 6-5-4. Mike went 65, he went 65.
-Oh. -Here we go. -Round 400 begins. -It was like
watching 2 heavyweight boxers go at it. It was insane.
-I mean I'm just like wow. This is right up
my game. I'm loving it. I mean I really am
thinking this is gonna be good for me. -The driving
up to the dice wall I thought one thing, I'm
screwed. Here's my club. So you do wanna play it.
-That is one challenge that I was so happy not
to be in. You know the other ones that I
watch sometimes I'm like oh. I wish I could do
that. That looks fun. No. -These dice walls when I'm
seeing those, the first thing that popped in my mind
is the glass. I felt like I needed to get
some revenge on it to build my confidence a lot
more. I wouldn't finish too closely with it because Mike
and David, they've done many things. So obviously they had
the bigger advantage over me. -He almost had that, tough
luck. -He is not having a good time. He is
not enjoying life today at all. -What's going on here
now because I'm looking good. -Wow. -He's been all around
it. -That was riding on the edge. -Yes. -There we
go. -Very nice. -Good job. -Okay. I said this is
getting little better, a lot better. -It's warm here at
Reunion. It's leaving some heat now on Tommy who needs
to knock this one out sure through. -Good job, Tommy.
-That's good job, Tommy. -Very nice. -Those last 3 were
6-5-4 and all of a sudden game Don. -I didn't
think 3 was no good and then when I sat
down and I just brought my head back up I
felt started feeling funny. I'm not dizzy but I'm lightheaded.
My stomach feels queasy. -Brokenhearted. -There's just something about Bri
that's really, really special. I think when she did go
home, he lost a little bit. I wouldn't say it's
his drive but maybe his focus. -Tommy probably had really
bad heat, dehydration and all that but I had been
dying pretty much for the past week. So drink a
Gatorade, okay? -It's so stressful out here. It's hot. You're
exhausted, you're irritable. So it was probably a combination of
everything. -I just couldn't believe what happened. -More photos and
exclusive video of each Big Break contestant available online at
GolfChannel.com -Well 3 is a score to catch right now.
Dave is the next one up. -I'll be up so
I'm in between the middle and the top left. I'm
picking that spot to give me a bigger cushion. Stay
focused and get real lucky and get the heck out
of here. When the first went through I felt real
good about my chances obviously. -You just never know with
him, could be 3, could be 2, could be 1.
-Wow. Tommy's 3s looking better and better. -And I know
I gotta get it through immediately and get moving on.
I'm gone. -Very nice. -Nice. -There's no use just go
up there and fearing for your life and hitting up
the shot that might or might not go through, so
I just acted as if I knew it was gonna
go in. -Wow. -He's gotta get the next 2-3. -Tommy's
thinking if I don't make it 1-4, he's got me.
-He's currently tied with Tommy now and this is his
last ball. -I forced myself to believe this is going
right through the center of the hole and how good
it's gonna feel to go over there with the lead.
-Yes. -Oh wow. -Touch. Right down Broadway. -Very nice. -Okay.
Well that knocks Tommy out now. Dave's in the lead
with 4. -And Tommy knows that he's going to the
elimination challenge. -Not happy about that. Not feeling very good
either. The feeling is starting to get a little worse
now. -So I'm not really too worried I mean because
I'm thinking. It should be no problem to get through
this, 6 to 5. -Come on, Mike, you're gonna take
that hole. -Oh boy. Mike's back. -Now, I'm trying to
make it through there. I'm thinking more about the hole,
trying to get it through there then just hitting the
shot and that's not at all what I needed to
be doing. -His 2 have been offline by 4 or
5 feet. -Very uncharacteristic for me from that distance and
that shot. All you can do is sit there and
do the math and try to figure how many more
bunkers does he have to hit before I'm safe again
for all I'm human. -I was in trouble then because
I only had 3 balls left to had to hit
to 3. With 2 balls left I still was confident
that I could still do it. I mean I've been
through these dice holes. I've been all the way to
the 2 before. I'm just make to preparing for a
playoff. He says okay. Just get ready to go after
that 6 again. You have to see he's gonna do
it. I know I'm back, heading to the elimination no
matter what Laura does. -One chance left, Dave's in the
lead with the where. Now it's Laura's final opportunity here
or Dave's on to the next show free and clear.
-For whatever reason I didn't feel comfortable and I wanted
to give up my all. That was no way and
heck gonna give up. It's not my style. I believe
that I paint my way around the golf course so
I should be able to shape shots that would be
able to get into the holes of the die. -I
mean the 6 is easy. If you take more than
2 at the 6, you're done. -It's awful to say
you're rooting against someone to knock this for the holes
but I mean if I want to root for someone
else, I could've stayed home and said no to the
invitation to come back on the show. You know I
wanna win. -They got it through the number 6 die
which was a good feeling so like okay, I'll send
that part. That's the only person not to make it
through at least 1 die. -I mean you're thinking about
what you'd give just to have 1 more day just
to get you know, especially when you're not playing great
up to now. You're just-- you're praying to whoever your
higher power is. -Great. I'm not aiming for anything. I
gotta aim for something. -Well, it comes down to this,
3 shots left. She has to make every single one
of these in a row. -Right. -That's it. -Got that
part down. I put a hole there. -Well Dave Gunas
with an absolutely clutch shot as a final ball, makes
it through the 3 spot and makes it through today.
He's done. He's on to the next show. -Relief like
I can't even tell you. It's like we're playing at
a tournament for 80 thousand dollars and at any minute
someone else's shot can make you go home and be
out of the tournament and all of a sudden you
find out that you're still alive. It's just elation. -He's
never been to elimination so he's feeling a lot of
pressure right now and as you could see he's struggling
a little bit physically. -Well I still feel kind of
weak but you know I got somehow just suck it
up and try to get it done. Well I've had
to hit a shot, I've hit the shot but you
know this is what's so great about the show. You
never know. -Oh I've been through eliminations. I've been through
some-- it's because we're back. She keeps the day or
not. -There's no final line. Those 2 will stay and
1 will go. -Here I am at elimination. I got
up once again find whatever shred of the competitiveness I've
got in me and see if I can bump off
2 very good players. -That'll be 2 go. -You're gonna
see some shots that are unbelievable today. -The winner of
the Big Break VII will receive a prize package which
includes a tournament exemption into the Nationwide, LPGA, or Champions
Tour. Ginn Resorts will present the champion with 50 thousand
dollars in cash and prizes including Ginn Resort lodging and
hospitality. Adams Golf will provide an endorsement contract which includes
10 thousand dollars in cash to keep them on top
of their game. Dick's Sporting Goods will also award the
winner with a 10-thousand-dollar shopping spree in the form of
a gift card. On top of the 70 thousand dollars
in cash and prizes, the champion of the Big Break
VII will drive away in an all-new 2007 Chrysler Aspen,
Chrysler's first full-sized SUV. -It's good to have everyone back
together again. Congratulations to those who have played their way
on through immunity but for Mike and Tommy and Laura,
this is it, the elimination challenge. -Well you've probably figured
out now this is a challenge about getting up and
down and you'll do so from 4 different locations. Each
of the first 3 locations is worth 1 point, the
4th location worth 2 points. So that means a maximum
of 5 points. If you fail to get up and
down from any of the locations, you receive a zero
for that location. Now Don it's interesting to note you
have kept once again in your pocket that Dick's Sporting
Goods 5-thousand-dollar check. It's going nowhere for another episode and
we're getting closer to that final 4 and you possibly
holding on to that in cash to get in. So
congratulations to you for hanging on it. -Thanks for reminding
me. -Best of luck to the 3 involved. -Good luck,
guys. -We've got Tommy, he's never been there. Mike that
just got done going through a series of elimination and
Laura, it's been in a lot and hit quality golf
shot after quality golf shot when the pressure's been on.
-I was really confident. I was like alright. Game on.
Let's just get this over with. I've been here 3
times. Let's make it 4. -If you ask anybody here
Tommy is the best player. That doesn't always mean anything
though because I thought Don was the best player in
our show and Don didn't win. -This my first elimination
challenge. How will I react to be in it? -Either
got up and down or you get and you get
the 1 point or if you didn't. -So if I
can get 2 of the first 3, I'm in great
shape. -Trickled it. -I want to be the person to
dictate and enforce the hand and after my shot I
enforce nobody's hand but let them have a free run.
-I'm disappointed being in the elimination challenge but I'm not
feeling very good at the same time. I think the
nerves started getting to me just like gasping for air.
-Oh, good chip, Tommy. -Good chip, Tommy. -Well get your
points early at these locations because that 4th spot is
gonna be awfully tough. -The first 2 I think that
you're so scared. You're like I'm gonna be off the
show and the 3rd one here you're like a veteran
and I think by this time I was just so
used to it. I wasn't nervous. -He always impresses me
under pressure. -Another good one. Another good one. Wow. -Nice.
-Good shot, Laura. -Good shot, Laura. -Thanks. -Here she comes
again. She's gonna just get by. She's gonna do what
she needs to do and it's like wow. This is
just dejavu. She just keeps doing it to people. -So
advantage to Laura and Tommy at this 1st location right
now. -Yes. -Mike's gonna have to step it up here.
-You find your way through elimination everyday is just too
hard. -It's not total score to who makes up and
down so it doesn't matter if you chip it 6
feet or 2 feet as long as you get this
hang down. -Mike goes fast now. He's not even looking
at the putt from both sides. -Take your time, Vegans.
-And so no points for Mike Foster at this 1st
location. -They're gonna be able to put the pressure on
me because both of them should make 1 point and
now I gotta play from behind the hole game. -Mike
misses his putt, the door is open. -She knows the
pressure and she knows what she has to do and
she gets it done. -And I gotta putt over my
4-foot putt. I wasn't fearing the outcome of missing it.
For whatever reason I don't make my 4-foot putt, I
should just aim for the back of the cup and
just hit the crap out of it because like it's--
what happens if you miss it. It doesn't matter it's
up and down game. -Big sigh of relief from Mike
right now. -Tommy gets up knowing that if he makes
this, he's 1 point up on these guys and that's
pretty good. -Good, Tommy. -Good, Tommy. -Good shot. -Thank you.
-I get 1 point. It's not really easing the pain
any but I'm 1 step closer to getting on the
next show. -Well yes sir after the 1st location, Tommy
is able to get it up and down. Mike and
Laura are not. Let's go to the 2nd. -That's the
nature of the competition here at the Big Break. Any
type of miscue and you could be the next one
going home. -Mike and I are still deadlocked at zero
and I could feel it affecting my subconscious. -Not nearly
as bad a feeling going to the bunker shot. -It's
like I wouldn't had it, had she made it. -Maybe
a little less than 20 feet away so he's got
tons of work left. -I was practicing on the bunker
on the practice range, I was tending it and it's
going outside I told myself and like whatever you do,
don't fly it past the greens. -Oh my God. -Oh
if Mike misses that putt though, Laura is still tied.
-It happens to the best players in the world and
so she needed to just focus on her next shot
and try to hole it out so I'm liking my
chances. I mean I've gotta putt at it. She's not
gonna have a putt at it. Tommy really he's ahead.
I'm not even worried about Tommy at this point. I'm
just trying to survive. -You got lucky if you holed
out. I got real lucky. -If both of them don't
get up and down, he's only got a 1-point lead
and the other have zero. I mean it's still anybody's
ball game. -Ready. Here's the hole out. -Oh. -Oh nice
shot, Laura. -Tried. -From now it would've been the Big
Break moment had I just got up there and Mike
called it but should've, could've, would've. It didn't happen. -Here's
Mike with a great, great opportunity. -She didn't make it
so I hadn't putt, just take advantage of the situation.
I just want to hit it you know with a
good speed because like I said I can't do anything
worse than make it. -Even Laura is still alive. Tommy
to put a nail on the coffin basically right here.
-After I've seen Mike's putt because his putt was on
the similar line to mine, so I just said I'll
keep it in the hole right side and if it
breaks a little bit left and you know I'll make
it. -If he can make this putt he will go
2-up and both of them with only 2 locations left.
-Good putt. -Good, Tommy. -Thank you. -I really wasn't thinking
I was in the driver's seat because I was still
feeling bad and I had 2 more challenges to go
and I know that Laura and Mike had no points.
So I felt like if I could get 1 more
point then I would be safe. -Luckily, Mike and I
are still deadlocked at zero and Tommy has got 2
points. -This is of not beating Laura now. Tommy has
got his points. I'm playing Laura, straight out match play.
-Oh, good shot, Mike. -Good shot, Mike. -I thought that
Mike had a chance to go in. I was happy
that I hit a good shot at least it would
put the pressure on her. -It's really the first time
Mike had to put Laura under pressure. -I won't lie.
He put a lot of pressure on me. I knew
that I wanted to hit a shot within his ball.
-Go in. -Laura with the pressure on her, she hit
a brilliant golf shot. -It just didn't land soft enough
and I was left with a putt pretty much directly
behind Mike's ball. -I'm still suffering when I'm waking everything
and I'm just trying to make sure I hit it
on the green because it will roll out of that
rough to the hole. -Brilliant. -Good shot, Tommy. -He might
have a feeling now that he was fighting through it
and he was showing us 2 players once again. -If
Laura and Mike somehow don't cash in here and Tommy
does, he's finished. He walks away. -We're on the same
line. She's just ball outside me, so I'm sure she's
under a little more pressure now too. -It was now
or never. I needed to make that putt to force
Mike the pressure of either missing it, great. Ball is
at my court again or making it and now we're
kind of still tied. -The fact she missed to 6
feet in, it's just not like herself. I really think
the pressure got to her. -I couldn't get mine fast
enough because now I'm excited. I've got this chance to
go ahead and take at this point because I don't
think anybody's gonna get it up and down for the
last hole. I knew at that point I have that
1 point and that was gonna be pivotal. -I'm thinking
I need to focus on this a little more, take
a little more time and make this because if I
make this one, I'm safe. When I made that final
putt and I knew I was safe on to the
next show it felt good. It felt like the weight
was off my shoulders now. -We're down to 1 location,
okay? 1 point for Mike, none for Laura but it's
a 2-point location so still very much up in the
air. -And trust me, this 4th and final location will
give them a very good test. -Now it's on to
Mike and I in the final challenge and I pretty
much have to get up and down from the waste
bunker. -Just not much good about it. I mean and
it's a hard shot. Even though you're placing the ball
it is hard to get good solid contact on that
golf ball. -That was either the chips that you need
to have not only to get to the next level
but to be a Big Break champion. -I have to
put the pressure on hitting on the green. -It was
do or die for Laura. She knew to hit the
shot of her life. -I don't even know what I
did. I didn't wanna skull it and I don't wanna
chunk it and so I just kind of chunked it
halfway up there. -She's gotta have to make that now
and I'm standing over mine thinking give it a shot,
you know in case she does happen to hole it.
You know you still gotta focus. -Well if ever I'm
not gonna chip that in either so but I'm still
liking my chances. -Well Mike has flew it over the
green but with point in hand, he knows that Laura
now has to knock this in for the 2 points
at any chance to advance. -Now if she does, if
he doesn't get up and down. -She will. -Congratulations, Mike.
-I gave it the old college try but it wasn't
good enough and that's the way it goes on Big
Break. -She didn't have it today. I mean she's been
hurting all week. I mean she's pure guts. Today she
just didn't seem to have that drive. I mean it's
just been one of those days and I have the
utmost respect for her and her game, because she's shown
me that she can play under the camera and under
the gun when it really means the most. -She's so
much fun. She takes life as it is and she
knows who she is and she has fun with everything.
And yes, I'm gonna miss her. -With this type of
mental scrutiny and this psychological warfare that goes on constantly,
I think that Ashley is a girl for the job.
-I am now the only girl left in this competition.
-She's tough. Like I'm tough but I think she plays
the game correctly. She talks the talk. -And I plan
on giving every single one of those men a run
for their money. -Funny thing about golf know 1 thing
I've always liked about it is when you put the
ball in the hole, you win. So if I really
wanna play in the LPGA one day and I wanna
be able to afford a Chrysler Aspen, I can do
it on my own by putting the ball on the
hole and playing good golf, so yes. It would've been
nice to have it right now but it doesn't mean
I'll never have it, no. -I don't think anybody has
ever made it all the way to the finals without
having to go to elimination. -Will you or will you
not cash in that check? -We've all been working on
Donnie behind the scenes. -The pressure is on him. -If
you win the immunity challenge here, you will win the
2007 Chrysler Aspen. -Oh my Lord. -That's just another questionable
decision. -I've been very fortunate with my time here on
Big Break to get paired up with some really neat
individuals and to me that's way, way more important than
just winning this. Girl power. I'm gonna represent for all
the women out there.
