Chan Songs set up position is a very good one. He has the ball a little bit ahead of the middle of his stance with his hands in front of the ball and his head behind it.
As Chan Song begins his backswing you will notice that the toe of the club begins to point skyward and you can fully see the label of his glove.
At the top of his swing Chan Song has his back pointed toward his target and has his weight nicely shifted to his right side.
Chan Songs transition is a little different than most. His downswing begins with his arms and shoulders and his hips release after his arms are on the way down.
As Chan Song approaches the impact position you will notice that his hips still have not released fully and his hands are well in front of the ball.
After hitting the ball, Chan Song maintains his spine angle nicely and has fully released the golf club.
As Chan Song holds his finish notice how his body makes a straight line over his left foot, and his right heel is completely off the ground.
Chan Song addresses the ball nicely with his feet, hips, and shoulders all square to his target line.
As Chan Song begins his backswing he keeps the club head outside of his hands, and begins to rotate the club head nicely.
At the halfway point of his back swing, Chan Song is in a beautiful position. His right elbow is tucked close to his body, and the club is on plane.
Chan Song has the club in a nice position here. His left arm and shoulder plane matches perfectly. The one thing you will notice here is the amount of hip turn Chan Song gets, you can actually clearly see between his legs.
As Chan Song starts his down swing, he does so with his arms and shoulders. Notice that you can still see daylight between his legs, meaning his hips are not released much at this point.
Chan Song is in a beautiful position here. The heel of the club leads the way to the ball and he has maintained his spine angle nicely.
After making contact with the ball, Chan Song has finally released his hips and his right heel is begging to lift off the ground.
Chan Songs finish position is a good one. All his weight is over his left foot and you can clearly see both of his back pockets.
