-Hi, and thanks for joining us here on GolfChannel.com. I'm Win McMurry, joined by a couple of Senior Writers here, Rex Hoggard and Randall Mell. Nice to be joining you both. For this little breakdown of the Waste Management Phoenix Open, what are the three things that you guys learned last week in Phoenix? Starting with you, Rex. -Why do you have to go? I think we underestimate players in how resilient they are. Maybe we underestimated [unk]. I'm not quite sure, but if you look at the way Kyle Stanley rebounded last week, all the talk was about it could take him years to rebound from that loss at Torrey Pines to come back and do it the very next week. We saw it last year with Rory McIlroy and coming back and winning the Open. I wouldn't be surprised what we saw at this week with Spencer Levin. -Yeah. And Kyle Stanley, I think when I learned that he heals quickly, because he had to be playing in pain, either with an open wound or a tender scar. Either he heals quickly or he has a special gift and then enabling amnesia. -Yeah. 'Cause he was able to forget. -Amnesia can be a good thing out on the PGA Tour for sure. Alright. What's another thing that you learned? -You know, we sit and we talked all the time about how we wanna make golf young and make it hip and bring people to the game, and then we get to Scottsdale in the 16th hole with such a great party. But then players say, "Yeah, it's great, but we only wanna see it one week out of the year." I wanna see it every single week. Let's take it to Bay Hill, our hometown event, for example. I think it'd be a great addition. Let's do this all over the country. I like to see he do it at John Deere. I think he could add a level of interest and [unk] -Rally the pins. I like it. -Yeah. -I like the idea. -On that topic, I learned last time I was there that it's much more fun to watch that on TV than it is to be there 'cause, Rex, I remember being there and sitting there and this guy is over my shoulder, this idiot, yelling, "Get into the hole!" every putt, so I moved. And then I go to-- setup in another place and then there's a guy yelling, "You're the man!" I guess I'm too old for that. It's what-- -No-- -Were you working? Were you working out there? -Unless you're guzzling beer,-- -Right. -then it's probably will be a lot of fun. -You're working probably a little different. Alright. What else did you learn, Rex? -Unfortunately, we learned that there is no shelf life on second chances when it comes to John Daly. He's got an exemption in the cutter. After what he did last year in Australia, walking up the golf course in Sydney, hitting all those golf balls, I don't think he should have been allowed on any professional tour. I think it's a sad testimony to the game that we picked ticket sales over traditions. -I learned from Spencer Levin that it's difficult to win a golf tournament when you have cactus needles stuck in your buttocks and cactus needles stuck in your ribs, you know. Spencer just got himself in some very difficult positions there. And it will be interesting to see if we have back-to-back story lines of guys who collapsed and then win-- -And then come back. -because Spencer is playing at Pebble. -There's jumping Choi that can get ya. -Yes. -I've gotten guy; it's no fun. -It's no fun? -No. -Alright. Thank you so much, guys, and thank you for joining us right here on GolfChannel.com.
