-At last year's Northern Trust Open, Aaron Baddeley lead the field in up and down 90% of the time at Riviera Country Club. All right, I've got a little drill for you to help you with your chipping and it's very simple. What you're going to do is you're going to hold this club like a putter. And, what I mean by that is not just also with the grip, okay? Not just the grip. And, we are going to grip it like a putter. So, we want that club to go through the palm of the hands but we're-- we're also going to do is we're going to move closer to the ball. We're going to set this club out on the toe. And, what we're going to do when we do this is we're going to create more of a pendulum type of stroke and that putt-- and that club is going to be staying in the line of where the ball is. And as we start to do that, we're going to make more solid contact. And as we start to make more solid contact, we're going to be able to control both our distance in the air and our distance on the ground. So, that's a great little drill for you to help you get it up and down. Martin, what have you got for us? -Michael, I've got another great drill for getting up and down. Chipping wasn't the only short game success battle we had. The past two win is at Riviera that have been 100% in sensation or like 100%. Now, the simplest drill I know and how to do that. Imagine there was a tee under the ball. I'm using a red one here. It's easy to see. I'm going to put this ball on a driving range tee in a moment and I'm just going practise knocking that tee from under the ball and knocking his legs from under the ball, I'm going to call it. So, I've got the ball on the driving range tee here. You don't actually have to be in a bunker to practise your bunker play. I'm going to set up and open the face. Now, I'm going to make Martin left so that I'm going to swing left to my target. But, my goal here is to knock that driving range tee from under the ball. Chop his legs off. And actually, you can see the tee goes and the ball goes. And, that's absolutely the feel you need to hit high, soft bunker shots, chopping the legs off from under the ball. That should help you with your bunker play. Thanks for joining us on GolfChannel.com for the best in golf instruction. With Michael's tip and mine, you're sure to be more successful getting up and down just like the winners of the Northern Trust Open.
