-We are here all the time, everywhere trying to help you improve your game. We're helping now Richie Hall of Knoxville, Tennessee. Hey Michael, I'm an avid golfer who loves the game but is considering giving it up because I can't beat the over the top problem. Please help with the remedies of the drills. Thank you. Richie, we cannot have this anymore. You have got to figure out the over the top. Come on over here. Come on over here. You know what we're going to do? We're going to use a little floaty device here. Yeah, this little noodle. We call this as-- we use this for swimming. We're going to save your life. This was the thing that keeps you from drowning and we're going to keep you from drowning with your golf swing. Here is what we're going to do. First thing, I want to tell you is, is that what the over the top situation is. So, Manny, if you could be so kind just to-- there you go. I'm telling you. The best part about this-- I don't even have to think anymore. So, what happens is this. When we do an over the top, what happens is the shaft of the club starts to get outside of this blue device right here, our little swimmy here, floaty. So, the club starts to go like this. And what we want to do is we want to get the club to stay in that the whole time. Our whole thing in golf is we never want the head of the club to get outside of this target line. We never want the club to be over here. So, over the top-- as you're coming over the top like this, the club is getting outside of the ball. And then, you're pulling across it. So, what we have is that here is this is a little device that's going to give you some incentive to avoid. So, when you swing, what I want you to do is I want you to get the feeling that you're going to trace a similar path with the club coming into this. So, it's going to go around and from the inside. So, when we swing, what we're going to first do is move that ball out of the way and then we're going to just swing and get used to what it feels like to miss this device. Then, we're going to put a ball in here just like that. That distance that that ball is from our device is about one ball. So, we're right here and now we're going to hit it. Now, what's going to happen is, is that as we go and swing through, we're going to miss that-- that floaty right there. And when we miss that floaty, we're going to be on plane instead of over the top. And, if that over the top thing is going to kill you, we're going to save your life. Richie, we want you playing golf and all of you that are struggling with that over the top, we want you stay with the game. And, you know the other way you can do it, very simple. Put the channel to the Golf Channel and you're going to watch us Monday night 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. Eastern. It's called the Golf Fix and I'm Michael Breed.
