I am Michael Breed; host of the Golf Fix. We got a Facebook question here from Chad Tucker. Chad says, using your impact drills, it seems my shoulders were too far ahead of my hand causing me to lose the ball right. How do I get my hand and shoulders more synched up? All right, Chad. This is a really good question. And obviously in my explanation I could have done a better job. So I apologize for sending you down a pat. As we talked about getting the body to rotate open here, what we wanna remember is that the shoulders have to stay on a tilt like this, what happens is, is that if you start doing those impact drills and you start letting your shoulders get stand up-ish or level as you come through the hit. The club will get back behind you and you'll push that shot to the right. What we wanna make sure of this is that as we're coming through this, that the shoulder line, the right shoulder is gonna be lower for the right hand player than the left shoulder. So, as I come down the line I rotate my body open. I'm not coming out of that shot. I'm actually staying in my spine angle so that the shoulder line is on an angle like this. And we start to do that we'll get rid of that shot that's going to the right. So, we practice making sure that our body is rotating, and that shoulder is down underneath. And then after we've done that a couple of times, the body is gonna rotate down and you're gonna see as I stay in my spine angle here what's happening is that golf ball is now on that line instead of pushing out way to the right, right there. Okay? And that's how you're gonna make sure that you have that impact position correct. The other thing that you can do, watch me Michael Breed every Monday night 7:00 PM on the Golf Fix. And we're gonna improve your game and help you play your best golf.
