-Hi, I'm Michael Breed, host of the Golf Fix taking a Facebook question here. And this question is coming to us from Corey. What's the best drill or method to assure a correct swing plane? -Alright, this is a very, very simple drill. What you're gonna do is you just gonna get a hanger. Hold that club just like that so that hanger is sticking out in effect. You know what I'm gonna is I'm gonna switch this around just like, okay, so we've got it like that. In that way, you can feel that up against your wrist right there. What we're gonna do is when we make our swing-- What we're gonna do is when we start to come up, I'm gonna feel like that hanger right there is pointing into that channel. So, I've got 2 alignment rods set up in a fashion so that they're creating a channel and then I'm gonna work on making sure that I point that-- all the time is pointing right into that channel. And when I do that, that's gonna be on the correct plane. If I've got the club coming too much inside and I go like this, you can see that that hanger is now pointing closer to my toe line, and when I start to go like this, now you can see that that-- that hanger is pointing way above that and that hanger is just basically creating an extension to the shaft of the club. What it's also gonna do is-- is it's gonna allow you to see where it's pointing so you can kind of look out there and see that. As you start to feel that, that's gonna be giving you the proper deal with the hanger and then what we're gonna do is we're gonna put a ball right in here. Now, I recommend that when you first start working on trying to improve your swing plane that you put this hanger in there, but what I'll also recommend is not swinging very hard at this because what will happen is-- is that it gets a little confusing and you can't get a chance to watch. You can't get a chance to see. So, you're gonna take a back swing. You're gonna look at it just like that. You're gonna get it-- You're gonna get a feel of what that feels like to have that hanger pointing right there like that and then we're gonna take that back. Feel that? And then kinda come through there just like that, alright? So, this little drill with this hanger and these 2 alignment rods will certainly improve your game. The other thing that could improve your game? Watch the Golf Fix every Monday night. I'm the host, Michael Breed, and we're gonna help you play your best golf.
