-We don't get to all the e-mails, you know that, but we like to put these e-mails over here on golfchannel.com so you can improve your game. This internet questions comes to us from Sonny Kim on Facebook. I have a problem spinning out on my shot, which leads me to be quite unpredictable. Do you have any drills to stabilize my swing? Yeah, well okay, Sonny, here's the first of all great name, love that. What you're gonna do is you're gonna get this balance rod, and it's a great device to help you keep balance. Whenever we're spinning out, that means our weight distribution is not moving properly and so what you have to do you have to get to a point where you put your body's balance in jeopardy before you can go. Stand on this little rod. You just gonna put it right in the arches. You're gonna get setup like this before we introduce the golf ball and what I want you to do is I just want you to make some swings here. I want you to feel what it feels like to swing on this balance rod, and what's gonna happen is you're gonna start to understand how to get the weight to get to the heal on your forward let through that swing. You're also gonna understand how to move or when to move fast in the swing, okay. Because what happens when we're spinning is we're moving too fast and our body is either not used to it or not comfortable with it and the footwork starts to change. What we wanna do is wanna make sure that we stabilize what we're doing with our body buy putting it in and unstable situation. So, we're there to make a swing. What I would suggest doing is swinging slowly at first so that you get an understanding of how the weight is gonna move through there and then hold that finish position. As you get used to that holding of the finished position, you start to understand how your body is gonna stay balanced through that swing. That's why we call that the balance rod, alright. That's gonna help you keep that balance and stop spinning out. You know, what else we have here is you stay right here on golfchannel.com/golfix. We've got all kinds of instruction to help all parts of your game and then the other thing I want you to do I want you to watch the Golf Fix every Monday night 7 and 10 p.m. eastern. I'm the host, Michael Breed, and all we wanna do is help you play better.
