-Love the email questions, love helping you play better golf. This one comes to us right here from Mike Hogan in Medford, Oregon. It's a Facebook question. How do you maintain rhythm when your round slows down due to slow play? This is a great question and we battle slow play all over the place. It sometimes there's nothing you could do about it. Here's what you can do. You're gonna get 2 golf clubs. You got time. You're standing up there. You've got time. This is what you're gonna do and I want you to get irons, don't get woods. You're gonna take the clubs. First of all, the reason why your rhythm, why you lose your rhythm is you're standing around, you get a little bit stiff. You're not keeping your body stretched out. So a simple thing. Take these 2 clubs and all you're gonna do is you're just gonna lean forward like that and just keep stretching like that, then put them together, maybe touch your toes a little bit, just staying in rhythm. Then what I want-- I mean and stretched out. Then what I want you to do is I want you to hold each club in 1 hand so you've got your right hand and left hand and we're gonna swing this club so that the clubs are moving together at the same speed and what's gonna happen when you do this is that your body is gonna move in rhythm with your arms. If you start getting this club going faster than this club and they're all over the place, you're not gonna have the rhythm. After you've done that, then what I want you to do is I want you to put that 1 club down because what's gonna happen is the weight is gonna be different than you're used to. So I want you to get a swing with 1 club just doing the same thing. After you've done that, then go ahead in there and make that move. So what you're gonna do is you're gonna grab those 2 clubs, do a little stretching, and then make some swings keeping those clubs moving at the exact same speed. That's gonna help you maintain that rhythm when you get into that slow play and I know that the slow play is no fun, alright? The other thing I want you to do, you wanna play better golf and there's all kinds of tips that we've put over here on the Golf Channel website. You go golfchannel.com/the-golf-fix. All that stuff is all there in all parts of the game to help you play better golf and then finally I want you to watch every Monday night 7 and 10 pm Eastern, it's the Golf Fix. I'm Michael Breed, the host. We want you to play your best golf.
