-Little treat for us today. Everyone once in awhile, Gary always say that we play in the Toy Department of Life and I like that. We're actually gonna play with one of the- -Yes. -Toys today. We have a very special treat. Mike DeVault, producer of the EA Sports Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13 game is in studio. He is giving us lessons, hopefully won't embarrass ourselves. I supposed because your brother- -That's only been done. -Yes, right. You played last year against Tiger head-to-head on the program. Your brother works here so hopefully we will do Golf Channel Proud. So this is a very exciting game. We're gonna get up to it and hit some shots. What's new with this particular game this year? -There's so much new stuff to talk about. This week, we're talking about our new feature called Tiger Legacy Challenge where we'd take you back to when Tiger was a little boy playing golf and learning from his dad all the way up to present day. Right now he sits with 14 Major Championships and the goal of this mode is for you to, to break the record and get him into the history books. -Let's do it. Can you hit some? -Yeah. And Mike this is something where, you know we've got him set up, this is him literally as a toddler and you know you got him from the Mike Douglas' days so I'm gonna see what kind of action the little man has. -I am Tiger Woods, oh, not a good looking voice there obviously. -He doesn't, he doesn't hit the bounce like- -There's some quality low out there. -Yeah, that's nice. -In there, it's in the fairway. -The kid has got a chance to make it. -All right, I'll hit the second shot. -Yes. -Okay. So I come right up here- -From 107. -Are you ready to go? -Ready to go. -I'm here. -So you guys are obviously playing two of our, our big new features this year. Tiger Legacy Challenge of course. You know we're just talking about it in the Kinect, Microsoft Kinect- -Right there. -Immigration as well which is, you know a huge win for us. -Let's see it- -So we're super excited about that. -See the replay. -Oh, we have a little swag- -You wanna see the replay? -Yeah. -Mike, one thing when you look at him as a toddler and you look at the yardage, one thing his dad did with him truly at that age was he would add a shot to par so it's called Tiger Par. -Right exactly, yeah. It was called Tiger Par and he would do that, it's kind of mental win for Tiger as he explained it to us. And it was really cool getting a chance to sit down and talk to Tiger about this sort of aspect of his life in his career. You know because he, when we asked him what sort of biggest thing that set him apart from other kids playing golf and other golfers in general, he said, you know it's the mental aspect which you know, players will actually be able to get to hear excerpts from our interview with Tiger in this mode. -Oh, I just let through an impossible bunker shot. I love it. -I think it's great. -Thank you partner. -I'm in the sand, oh, we're okay. Let's see. We step up, see if we can hit out of the sand here. It's amazing. There's no controls to this thing. It's so easy to use. You just step up look and suddenly I feel like I'm 3 years old. All right, let's get going. See if we can hit this thing. -Oh, that's very well done. -Very nice. -There, you know what -Very nice. -Not bad. -Everyone once in awhile, even a broken clock twice a day so there I am. -And, and one thing Mike, you know you've got all of these different faces of Tiger's life but you've added a lot of players to the game as well, have you not? -Yeah. I have five new players to the game and I think you're having one of them on here this week, Graeme McDowell. -Oh. -Nice. -Yeah, Graeme is gonna be here? -No, I meant the fact that we just got it. -We just- -We just, we just drained that thing. Gary just knocked that. -Very nice. -Look at that. -I think it's a par 3. -So you're on, you're on track to beat the challenge. You have three holes remaining. Need to be 4 over par or less and you're one over, right? -What, what can you really shoot on this? -I'll tell you what, when we cranked it up to the hardest difficulty level using the Kinect, the best score in the office is in 84. -Wow. -So it gets really sim very fast. -I hope they see this, watch. I, I have no controls on my hand. I have nothing here, and all I have to do is just go like this -Yeah. -And boom, here I am ready to go and play. It's that easy. I'll just strike my hand- -You are the controller. -I'll just come right here. Look, and I'm off. -Go, he's off. -And, and Mike the game- -That's far. -System that this is available on, is in case what's the fairway? He's living a dream right now. It's available in what different forms? -It's available for Xbox 360 and PS3, and it will be available March 27th. -And one of the players, Graeme McDowell is gonna be co-hosting with us on Friday. He's one of the new players added. Talk about Tiger's involvement because what, what's his reaction when he saw the animation of him at this age? -Oh, he loved it. We, we definitely have Graeme McDowell in the game and we MoCap Graeme and we also MoCap Tiger this year for the first time in ages. -When you say, for people to know. -Motion capture so we- -Okay. -We, I think everybody is kind of seeing the, the black suit with the little white balls where it captures your entire body movement. So especially Tiger since he's changed his swing so much over the last year so we want to make sure- -Let's see if I can help you out. -And he wanted to make sure that it got in there and that is part of his involvement. -Look at that. -We're, we're all huge Tiger fans back at the office so you know we felt it was right time to get a feature in there that, that really highlighted his entire career and the legacy. And everything that he's done in such, such a short period of time and he was unbordered with it which is awesome and he, and gave us plenty of time. Gave us all this information. We actually had some of this feature already designed, and then after we did the interview and spend all this time with him, we ended up having to go back and change a lot because we thought, you know he's giving us so much great golden information that we need to put this in. -Well, we appreciate you putting it in here. Rory McIlroy is gonna be coming up next on this program. He is part of the game again. He's on the cover. If you buy it overseas, in the UK, you will have him on the cover. Ricky Fowler domestically. Thank you for coming in Mike. -Thank you. -It's great to have you here. The new game, we got it. Finally, let's see if I can make a par here. -Here you go. That's, that the replay. That's the replay. -Oh that's the replay. -You're good. -Come on, I don't need to see your replay. -[unk] -Let's get this down. -Look at this, look at this. -Okay, okay. -I didn't see that, I didn't see- -Tap it, you can tap it in. -I am Tiger Woods. Tap that thing in. -Come on. -Oh, we don't need it. -Okay, I don't need to see that putt I missed. -See if you wanna see the replay, it's easy. If you don't want to see your replay, so control. -Here it is. -Oh. -All right, when we come back, Rory is coming up. Also, The Sash will be in studio as well with your top picks as far as fantasy. We roll on. It's Morning Drive live at Golf Channel.
