-Here in the set of Morning Drive for GolfChannel.com with
Jerry Foltz, and for Gary Williams, I'm Erik Kuselias. And
this afternoon, out at Riviera, Northern Trust, a lot of
history and a lot of good names in the field.
What excites you most about the afternoon wave? -Well, as
you know, as I said all morning long, I think
Phil is gonna win. I think he's absolutely the favorite
to win. He's playing in TV time today playing with
Kyle Stanley and Brandt Snedeker, also both winners this year
who would love to be two-time winners. I'm gonna be
looking for them and in the group right in front
of them. Jason Day, Sergio and Fred Couples, they're gonna--
you know what I'll be looking for? Who has the
bigger galleries? Freddie or Phil? -That's exactly my answer to
the question. I wanna see the energy and the vibe
around Freddie who is making his 30th career appearance at
Riviera and the energy and vibe around Phil who just
won his 40th career PGA Tour event. Where is the
more sizable gallery? Where are the louder cheers? What sort
of seems to be the place to be? I think
that's gonna be fascinating. I'm gonna check this out. -30th,
he doesn't even look like he's 30 years old yet,
Fred Couples. -Yes. -He doesn't age. -He's got a little
boyish charm, a little Dick Clark you know with the
Dick Clark for years. Always did that. And Fred Couples
just seems to keep showing up every year. Hopefully, the
back will cooperate. He can have a really good round.
He's played exceptionally well there and that would be really
great to see for golf. It's really great when you
come by and see us, Monday through Friday 7:00 to
9:00 Eastern. Hopefully, you'll stop by. We'll see you then.
