-Hi, this is Jim Williams. I've got some suggestions for your posture for those of you that struggle with slouching over the golf ball. This is really common for a lot of reasons. You don't have enough angles in your body to help you rotate properly and stay down on the ball. So, here's what I'm talking about. If you're somebody that stands up to the ball and your belt's really level, your rear is pulled in, and you're slouched over, and your chin's down, you're who I'm talking to. This is what we call C posture where you're curved inward like this. Unfortunately, for those of us that spend a lot of time Indoors, or on computers, or working a lot indoors, you're gonna get this 'coz you bend over a lot. So, it's hard for you not to be in this position. So, you have to consciously work on pulling back on opening up. So, what I want you to do is create 2 better sling angles. The first one is from your hips. I want you to take your club, put it along your belt line, push back from your hips so you have more angle. Here, this is your core angle. This sets up everything. From that point, I then want you to feel like your shoulders are back farther almost like they're retracted. So, when you step into the shot, when you pull your shoulders back, that should help your chin come up. Now, I've got some angles to my body that are more defined. I can then turn better and rotate and not feel like I'm just using my hands and arms or having a really weak swing as a result. So again, if you have a problem with slouching over the ball, what I want you to do is stand up straighter, bend from your hips and feel like your shoulders and chest pull back a little bit. This is gonna give you a much more defined body line or body angle through here and then when you step into the ball, you're gonna be much taller and your shoulders are gonna be more over your toes. You're not gonna be so slouched over like this. This will put you in a much dynamic position to hit really solid golf shots. Good luck.
