I am Brian Mogg. We're here at the Waldorf Astoria
Golf Club in Orlando. I wanna give you a tip
on what to do if the golf club gets stuck
to the inside. You see golfers that have a club
get trapped behind their body, the club gets stuck. You
hit that either that big push-out or you're forced to
flip your hands through it like we can all relate
to and it just doesn't feel good coming through. Well,
here's a basic tip. Water bottles are so popular these
days. It seems like we all have a water bottle.
Well, go ahead and use it. Place it about a
foot, a foot and a half behind the ball, a
little to the inside and now if you make your
traditional takeaway, you're gonna hit it. And the whole drill
is designed to give you the sensation that the club
is staying more out in front of you. You can
see as the club goes back, my hands stay in.
It doesn't look this way. So with that water bottle
in making an attempt not to hit it, I've gotta
feel my takeaway. The clubhead is out. The hands are
in and the clubhead is more out on the other
side of the water bottle. When I come down, same
thing. If I tend to drop it inside, I'm gonna
tend to hit that water bottle. So when I come
down, I've gotta feel the same thing. The path of
the club is gonna fill on the other side of
the water bottle. This is gonna let me hit the
back of the ball. The path now will not be
so stuck from the inside. So use your water bottle.
It's not just for drinking. It's also a good thing
for tips.
