In this special edition of 'Winsday', Win McMurry takes you behind the scenes of her Golf Magazine photoshoot after being named golf's No. 1 beauty.
TRANSCRIPTS
A perfect chip or pitch, it stops next to the
hole. -Is that Jack Nicklaus giving-- -It feels magical. Who
said that? -Oh, that's-- well, that's-- -Oh. -That's a different
golden bear. -That would be our resident beauty queen right
there. Look at that picture. How about that? Come on,
let's go talk to her. Come on, Todd. -You'll meet
[unk] -Yeah, come on, let's hang out. -Charlie, you're embarrassing
me, right? -I'm right, right? I never talked to a
beauty queen before. Tell me about this. -Oh, goodness. Well--
-Where was it? -When we shot it at Lake Nona.
-Uh huh. -And, you're in Orlando. I mean, I guess
we took the photographs back in May. -Did you major
in fashion modeling at University of North Carolina? -Journalism and
Communications. Come on, Charlie, that is very flattering and a
nice article and that was an honor to do it.
So, to be named the part of that issue, I
think they profiled like 20 people, so kind of from
all industries that just have something to do with golf.
I think they connect us by saying golf was a
shared passion by all of us. And, so that was
pretty cool. -Well, that's cool. Congratulations. -Do you know from
a [unk] design team and I'm-- -She's fabulous. Yes. -[unk]
and make up today. They look fabulous for the photo
shoots. -[unk] -Great to meet you, Don. -Glad to meet
you. -Thank you so much for-- -How are you? -Doing
the shoot. -You're welcome. -I'm great. Thanks. -It's almost [unk].
-Your hair looks great. -Thank you. -It's gonna blow in
the wind. -It's all right. -We just got from hair
and now we're doing make up as you can tell.
-[unk] to this. -You know, it's really sweet. She said,
"It's like playing a [unk]". She wants us to have
[unk]. Let's have a great day. In golf, you don't
ever see much glamour so it's fun to kind of
glam it up. -Killer on. -I really like that. -Yeah.
-We used to do that. -Yeah, I love that when
Sergio pulled a cab and like-- -Oh, yeah. -And meet
your fans. -Uh huh. -I love that. -Hey, guys. Welcome
to my photo shoot. It's been a fun day. We're
just getting started, so stick around. -Looking hot. -Look at
this. -Oh, my God. That's like-- -You're shooting cover today.
-That's fashion magazine. -Isn't that beautiful? -"Shooting cover today," it
says. -I don't want it to look like I'm Wonder
Woman, that's the only thing with this dress. -Yes, you
are. -You are awesome. -She's great. Yeah. Real natural. She's
really good. A lot of fun. -It's just a pleasure
to be doing this. She's great to work with. I
mean, she's beautiful. She makes my job easy. -So good.
It's heating up. -It's 2011 and we shoot digital most
of the time, but we're gonna go old school on
her. We're gonna shoot some film in the film camera
and then we're also gonna shoot some Tight 55 Polaroid
film that they don't even make anymore. So, once this
is gone, it's gone forever, but usually, when I'm shooting
on celebrity golf celebrity or sports celebrity or whatever, I'll
pull a few pieces of that film out and shoot
it to capture what looks like-- kinda looks like a
painting. -I hope you guys enjoy the shoot. It's been
a fun day.
