RECRUITS: Its a little early for agent signing season, but that doesnt bother Minneapolis-based Imani Sports. The agency, which also represents Casey Martin, just signed LPGA player Maria Hjorth and Arizona State University All-American Matt Jones.
Expect agent signing activity to heat up as summer wanes and more kids consider whether to turn pro. Top agents are already out there working the younger echelons of top golf talent.
TAYLORMADE TO COVER MORE PRICE POINTS: If the highly successful 300 Series woods from TaylorMade-adidas Golf were a bit too pricey for you, take heart. The company plans to introduce the press to a new 200 Series in late July. The steel-headed clubs will be less expensive than the 300s. Dont hawk the kids yet, though; the product wont be released until months after the press introduction. No word yet on the exact suggested retail prices.

Got the nod to be the exclusive U.S. Internet sales agent for official stuff from the championship. This is the second straight year TGW has handled the British Open Collection.
