MOLDER SIGNS NIKE DEAL: New professional and former Georgia Tech star Bryce Molder has signed a head-to-toe endorsement agreement with Nike Golf.
Under the deal, Molder will wear Nike clothing, headwear and shoes. Hell play the Tour Accuracy TW golf ball and Nike clubs, although only his 4 iron through pitching wedge are ready to go into the bag for this weeks Reno-Tahoe Open.
Financial terms of the multi-year agreement werent disclosed. But Molders agents, Gaylord Sports Management of Scottsdale, Ariz., were asking for more than $1 million per year, said industry sources speaking on condition of anonymity.
Molders deal comes just a week after the announcement that he would be represented by Gaylord, which also manages the careers of Phil Mickelson, David Gossett, Rocco Mediate and Billy Mayfair, among others.
