Ace in the Hole Jimenez Wins BMW PGA


2007 BMW PGA ChampionshipSURREY, England -- Miguel Angel Jimenez won the BMW PGA Championship on Sunday after sinking a 2-foot birdie to beat Oliver Wilson on the second playoff hole.
Jimenez and Wilson both shot 68 in the final round to tie at 11-under 277.
Robert Karlsson, the overnight leader by four strokes, slipped to a 74 and finished third. The Swede had a chance to join the playoff with a 5-foot putt for birdie at the last, but he three-putted and ended tied with Luke Donald at 279.
Donald had the days best round, a 7-under 65.
Paul McGinley, the leader after 36 holes with a record 13-under total, shot 72 to finish tied on ninth.
