Agent Investigation into Balsbegs death could take weeks - COPIED

LAS VEGAS – The agent for an LPGA golfer found dead in her home near Las Vegas is calling her death tragic for her family and friends.

Chase Callahan said Tuesday that Erica Blasberg was just 25 years old and hadn’t reached her peak as a golfer yet.

Her sudden death Sunday at home in Henderson is being investigated by police and the Clark County coroner.

They say it could be four to six weeks before blood tests are returned and their investigation is complete.

Callahan says police in Henderson aren’t giving him and Blasberg’s parents, Mel and Debbie Blasberg of Corona, Calif., any indication about how Erica Blasberg died.

Callahan says there’ll be a memorial service May 19 at the Glen Eagle Country Club in Corona.
